I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. This is to all denominations: If Joshua 7:1, 10-12, 22-26, is your Scripture for the Day, this is a good hymn to compliment it. It was written and composed by Martin Luther, 1483-1546. The English translation is Out of the Depths I Cry to You.
@trenoespresso sure, but the attack of the voicing is so strong that the legato masks it [mercifully] to some extent! :-) The pedal sounds, however, very weak in this recording... :-(
Marvellous performance ! This awesome piece needs 3 brains. Indeed a strong 16ft register like Posaune is lacking in the pedal, the choral in the pedal sounds a bit wimpy. But if you don't have one, you have to make do....
I played this again last week and I found u get better clarity in the pedal parts if u have a pedal reed at 8ft that's loud enough. I like the way u embellish the performance excellent. The piece sounds incredibly more difficult then what your hearing in performance. Most of the time the Organist is playing six moving parts in this great german chorale.

I find that that puts a dampner on the whole thing, so I just listen to the radio for a bit then go to bed. . . Cheers. from, del-boy.

Is there a posaune at 8ft then on the pedal division of this organ then ? Yeah it's disadvantage if there isn't as we don't really hear the chorale melody brought out.
