@ardalsgirl they were cute, the dolls in the last few years were a little to adult and realistic to be fun, but was good for collectors, Now I notice that Barbies are being produced to look more playful and Cartoonish again, as in to appeal to Children.

This was filmed in 1989, and the doll was released on sale for Xmas 1989. I am trying to track down the copy of this made in New Zealand for Australia, as I was the blonde girl in that version. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

What year was this made? the way the girls look with the flat hair makes me think this is after or before the high hair craze. I would guess 1989; I know right before the 1990s the prep look was still in but the hair high was pretty much over
