  • Ok, since Youtube is being stupid I can't write a description, so the description is in comment form. Read from first comment to last.

  • I'm not too sure if this has been done before, like the exact tune, but if it has, tell me. Which I doubt it has, but you can never be too sure, so yeah..

I have not uploaded this to Gamebanana or anything, because I feel this should be my little mod thing, but to compensate I'll teach you guys how to make your own sound mods.

  • 1) Work out which sound you want to replace, for example the winning/lose tune. This can be done by using GCFscape.

    2) Go to steam>steamapps>yourname>teamfortress2>tf>sound

    3) create a folder for your sound mod (if it doesnt exist already), so for winning/lose themes it would be sound>misc

    4) Make a .wav file (Must be wav) named the same as the file you're replacing, for example if your replacing the win/lose theme, you would place your file named "your_team_lost.wav"

    5) see if it works.

  • IMPORTANT NOTES:

-Make sure your files are mono

-sv_pure servers do not allow any sound mods (or any mods)

-for misc sounds, you need an identical .mp3 variant of the same tune, named the same as the .wav file, eg "your_team_lost.wav" AND "your_team_lost.mp3"

    Songs I used:

Losing tune: Gerorge Michael - "Careless Whisper"

Winning tune: Sun Stroke Project - "Run away"
