The exhibition that this was included in was at the Greenwich Heritage Centre which is at the Arsenal site at Woolwich. As well as the historic interest of the site as a whole, it also has the 'Firepower' museum, and is a great place to start a walk along the Thames.

We lived in Conway Road throughout the war. My father worked in Woolwich Arsenal. I remember sleeping in our air raid shelter.

Taken from Barnfield Gardens. Genesta rd was hit by, I believe, two V1s, a parachute mine and the V2 in Eglinton hill.

It wouldn't surprise me that Woolwich/ Plumstead was bombed because of Woolwich Arsenal.
