  • I like showing my old lady my Revolting Cock!

  • Ministry are out of this world!!

What vocal distortion unit do they use for the singing?

  • You're supposed to bang your head, not the camera.

  • Awesome!

  • I like the old AND the new stuff...

  • @MRBLuD been a Ministry fan since i was like 13 i am 41 now and i love all the periods of the band or i should say al. I dont get peopel that give him shit for changing stylys hes an artist and exploring diferent sounds haveing all of ministrys cds is like haveing 5 very diferent bands cds its great if you want pop its there if you want metal its there if you want punk, industrial what ever. Ministry is amazing .

  • masters of rock 2008 vizovice....next band was def lepard...amazing:':'

  • For me i like the old school stuff and the new heavy stuff :D

    Its all good

  • Damn I was hoping to try and follow the finger patterns of Sin or Tommy haha.

    Never mind.

Personally, I prefer the heavier politically charged stuff a little more. I don't understand the 'oldschool' haters who bitch about Ministry losing their edge. But don't get me wrong, the whole Ministry discography is the pride of my CD collection, and I'll defend them to the death. Can't wait for their DVD to come out.

And Dark Side of the Spoon is THE best soundtrack for personal reflection.

  • Hey fellas,

If anyting, Ministry has regresed. Dont get me wrong, I love the fuckers more than my child, but creatively they have gone stagnant for some time. Mind you, Houses of the mole, particularly track 13 which is a "So what " follow on, kicks arse, my intial listenings to FP and DSOTS were disappointing. BUT after giving them time they have far more substance, they really were tits

  • HHDV - Agreed, their three last albums redeemed them from Filthpig, Dark Side of the Spoon, and Animositisomina with exception to a few tracks on FP (lay lady lay)

  • I "discovered" Ministry late. My first album was Filthpig which I really liked and then I went backwards to Psalm 69, The Mind is.... etc. Such a wicked band.

  • EDD731 - Same here, I got Filthpig as a birthday present when I was 11 (im now 24) and Ive been listening ever since. The first Ministry song I ever heard was SO WHAT and I just got to hear it live in May 2008 in Toronto. Although there are 2-3 songs on FP that I like you must admit it was a failure of an album, the last 3 albums the have put out have 2-3 solids tunes on them each. Regards.

  • Agreed. I don't listen to all the songs on that last 3 releases as opposed to their earlier albums which are IMMENSE. I finally got to hear So What live too, the crowd and me went nuts lol. Respect to whoever gave you Filthpig as a present, how generous!

  • i went to their concert in chicago house of blues and during this song when i was in the mosh i dropped my phone :) i never saw that thing again.

  • Oh man that sucks but I bet seeing Ministry softened the blow a bit....well I hope it did lol. The worst thing about losing your phone is having to get all your friends and families numbers back.

  • the worst part is that i found my phone leaving the concert and it was destroyed. and the even worse part is that it was a 250$ blackberry that i got two weeks b4.

  • Ouch! gutted for you dude. It's for that reason I leave my phone in my car at home.

  • bullshit! their albums rule u stupid shaft fuck.

  • man, i think the best part of this concert is when the electonic came in, cuz then all of the metalheads started moshin for electro.

  • I was dead happy due to the fact I love electro, industrial and metal music so a mix of them is fine by me!

  • all in all maybe it's not such a bad thing they will be no more...??

i mean it's not like al's dead or nothing.. he was the inspiration for me to have dreadlocks done...

i keep listening to 'sun fix' bootleg from germany circa 91 and can't help but wonder, will he ever release anything in the same league as those songs back then...???

fuck it! ministry fucking rule, they just overstayed their welcome by few years, in my humble opinion. but hey what do i know???

    ME? I'M JUST AN IDIOT!

  • Ministry are fucking boss but I am glad they are calling it quits now so they dont become totally crap. Maybe they peaked back in the day with Psalm 69 etc and they were too big to live up too with following albums? Either way they have a monster legacy behind them which can only be applauded. Your not an idiot, you have an opinion which I seem to share...which is nice lol.

  • yeah, their new album not that good. uncle al will never quit, though. im mean, did he stop doin revolting cocks too?

  • Yeah apparently he was going to quit after Sphinctour (I think I read somewhere but then again you cant always believe what you read) but I was glad he didnt. Part of me wants him to quit on a high but another part of me wants him to go on till he snuffs it. I love Ministry.

  • I thought he would not quit but he has AND he has quit Rev Cocks too apparently (according to an interview with him I saw).

  • well since bush retired...

  • fuckin' hell i'm such an idiot (much like al himself:-))

i didn't really enjoy this gig. i don't care for 'cover up' and 'the bush trilogy' is only so-so for me...

and we travelled from littlehampton (west sussex) to see them...

i saw them few years ago in london astoria and they fuckin spunked all over the place!!! great gig, great energy, etc... it was so fooken cool. this time however....

whatever happened to all the good, old songs????

  • Excellent work on travelling to the gig. I came up from Cornwall myself (Liskeard). I agree that their older songs are better (although some of the new songs are pretty good). I saw them at the Astoria too, I think it was the same gig you might have been too. They had Joey from Slipknot on drums and I met Raymond Watts from the band Pig there too which was a fucking bonus!

  • Same here I saw them a few years ago in London and seeing this was their last ever tour I had to go for it. I must admit Al looked a little worse for wear but then again he was a drug dustbin and a hellraiser for years so it's to be expected lol. Minsitry do fakkin rule! \m/

  • fucking great stuff..

Was a great gig, wish i had been able to get some good clips like this.

Post em if you got em!! :)

  • It was mental. I have a few other clips but owing to that black security guy not letting me film them I only got a few. What a git. I filmed FLA clips at this same place last year and nobody complained or anything! Will post the rest of the clips up asap. Thanks for your words :D
