  • I think the reason people think he is doing bad with the gear is cause his foot is on the clutch even though in could not be pressing it, think people before you say something

  • I wish Chevy would bring back the S-10, the Colorado is garbage.

  • if you're from the s10 world, you know how big of a deal that shifter is...

  • I'm 6'4". Does it have a lot of leg room?

  • @Sand1511 im 6'4" too and i have plenty of leg room in s10s

  • you guys r fucking retarted hes doing fine with the clutch

  • Damn man, chirp some gears or something! Lol.

  • And yes he is burning clutch, bad.

  • Yiur gunna break the damn e break the way you just pulled the lever. Bring it up slow lol

  • you drive that far for gas? hahaha

  • piece of shit

  • If you want quick acceleration get the HO4.3.

  • how is he burning the shit out of the clutch? It really doesnt seem that bad...

  • i own a 1998 Chevy s10 LS 5 speed its my first car and i love it. i think you should do a video on a 1998 Chevy s10 LS 5 speed.

  • this guy is burning the shit out of the clutch

  • @djfrankyv1 is it because he is keeping his foot on the clutch pedal even when he isn't shifting?

  • No tach? blah

  • dude your swagger is fucked up.

  • have you ever gotten pulled over in one of your videos?

  • the engine on the 1994-2004 (North America) 1995-present (Brazil) Chevrolet S-10

    Engine

    2.2 L I4

    4.3 L V6

  • Can somebody tell me, why american cars have big engines and less horse power than the engines in european cars? For example, Audi Nissan Murano, 3,5 l engine and 240 HP, and typical american car, from 90's, 5,4L and only 250 HP?

  • @MrLagunaChris For the trucks u can always use the 'they need the displacement for toque' excuse. which is true. but in the cars, well, no excuse there. incompetence maybe.

  • @MrLagunaChris Well, engine technology has advanced significaltly espically with the improvement in direct injection. As to why american engines dont get more hp per liter than european engines, I dont know. Maybe we choose be be simplistic. Im not saying that there is aything wrong with some sophistication.

  • @MrLagunaChris a lot of it has to do with the engine design. most engines ur referring to with low hp/liter are push rod(OHV) engines. These don't get a lot of hp for their displacement but they're generally smaller and lighter than a similar displacement DOHC engine. Obviously these are generalizations, and you'll most likely find exceptions to this but that's a big part of the reason why.

  • @MrLagunaChris Design. Just the difference between OHV and DOHC. DOHC's and usually push some high hp but the have little if any torque, and compared to say a 302 ford which may make 300hp but has much more torque.

  • I videoed a 1997 Chevy S10.

  • i like this more relaxed-type reviews, keep em coming!

  • my sebring has a bigger engine.....

  • His riding the clutch.. Tsk tsk

  • Umm, that seemed completely gut-less

  • The 2.2 was never the best motor for speed and acceleration

  • my mom wanted me to get this

    i laughed

now im driving a 2000 trans am

  • Sounds very nice for a 4 cylinder

  • I'd love to have this.

  • mine is a 2.6 v4 5 speed. I hate automatics. shifting is awesome. funner on wet and gravel roads

  • do you know what the exhaust set up is?

  • @saabkyle04 what is your daily driver?

  • Yo man i live right outside of raleigh> do all of your reviews come from NC

  • @ThatOtherGuy10 ohhhh, well that's pretty cool!

  • hey kyle, that little black ford ranger, at 0:25 , do you have a in depth, tour of that? it looked like a beautiful truck in a flash!

  • look at 3:26 he downshifts without the clutch lol

  • This , A 92 Civic Hatch , or a Acura Integra?

I have to choose by wednesday

  • @vDroiiDz Really hard choice, depends on what you need.

  • @HedgehogOutdoors I just got the Civic Hatch. somebody bought the intergra :(

  • @vDroiiDz Well Civic hatches look really nice, I gotta say that. Have fun with it. Send me a video of it.

  • I feel weird that I just watched a video of you showing a LM002 and then this... random.

  • Danny McBride??

  • My truck is the same year, engine and trans. good little trucks for what they are. The radio install kits are hard to find for this year. Mine has a stock tachometer

  • lol@ pulling it out of gear while his foot is barely on the clutch. 3:25 :l

  • @JobeMinacum thought only i noticed that lol

  • by the way bout 90% sure its been lowered in the front some how defintely not stock

  • this truck is lowered as well. has drop blocks in the back.

  • the 1994-2004 Chevrolet S10 was assembled in

    Shreveport, Louisiana

    Linden, New Jersey

    São José dos Campos, Brazil

  • That truck is geared pretty good

  • I have the 4.3 1997 ZR2 (3 inch lift factory, power windows, locks, automatic).

Drives great. I test drove a older (91 body style) 2.8 VERY SLOW compared to the 4.3

  • That's the thing about those small trucks. If it's a 4 cyl, you sacrifice power and speed for gas mileage. My 96 Ranger 2.3 is like that.

  • That same engine was also used in the Chevrolet Cavalier, of which I had a '97 year model once. On top of that, mine had the 3-speed automatic. All in all, it's not the worst engine out there.

Also, the exhaust on that truck sounded very nice! I wish my old Cavalier did that, lol.

  • KYLE! The car guy. Does your dad have any cars for 5K or less on his lot? Im looking for a good college car!

  • I got a poster of this car on my wall but it's all black. nice to see for the first time how it looks from the inside

  • can you please test drive a jeep commander hemi?

  • looks like a lot of new vehicles on your lot.....i hope this brings lots of new test drives

  • you should go to gear 5 as soon as youre going 70 km/h , about 45 mp/h, saves the gas man

  • @XceSS47

Isn't it hard on the clutch and drive train? I shift from 4th to 5th around 90 km/h

  • i am a though and though Ford guy buy i love the look of this truck . Damn where i come from thats rare to find in that kinda shape

  • I really hate manual transmissions.

  • 120HP/130 lbs-ft.

    Woooooow

  • its gotta be a pain in the ass to have a manual gearbox and no tach

  • @JeepGCOverland47 My jeep is a 5 speed 2.5 tachs busted you just listen to the engine only a fucking idiot needs a tach

  • here in Brazil this shit is sold yet ¬¬ /watch?v=E53xdj8yMp8

  • Man my dad had a '98 gmc sonoma 5 spd 2.2. It was a great truck. It had over 240K miles when he sold it. Granted the exhaust sounded completely different and the interior was redesigned, but this is still really cool to watch :)

  • Can you do a video on that Chrysler pacifica?

  • This car is so unsafe ..

  • @saabkyle04 Cool can't wait to see it

  • Can you make a video on that new model Durango I saw at the beginning?

  • @Tanman356 Yep, got it coming!

  • Ye dude the last ford ranger i drove i had it to the floor on the highway people passing me. Test drive one seriously! Then we can talk slow. This truck aint to bad. Alittle to low for my liking but i would love to own one.

  • "Not the fastest thing in the world, though..." Man you should review a 2000 Mazda B3000 (or Ford Ranger with the 3.0L) if you want slow... 0 to 60 in 5.3 days!

  • @Arundodonax Hahaha if I ever get a chance I will!

  • can you do a newer acura mdx

  • i noticed u have no snow aint gotten any or did it all melt? also the left blinker is blinking fast u might wanna check to see if a turn signal bulb is out

  • V8?

  • Nice vid man, you're are like a pro at driving a manual now! I always love watching your vids, especially the one where you feature a manual car and test drive it. Keep up the good work.

  • @brbn93 Thanks dude I really appreciate that!

  • I have a 1999 S10 same motor and everything. I love it. 200k miles still runs strong!

  • @Halljand we got a 98 same engine auto 64k mils

  • it look s like the clutch is pretty high

  • Can you please do a 2011 Infiniti QX56?

  • "Not necessarily for pulling..."

In both senses of the word? :)

  • when you drive you should skip gears to drive more eco :)

  • you driving good, but 1 note, you shouldn't keep left foot on clutch then you aren't using it, it demaging clutch, it an advise

  • You're the 76# most viewed in the world again today!!! Nice.

  • @gentle285 Wow thanks dude I didn't know that! :D

  • Pretty nice shiftings now, nice job :) Just a quick note: you could shift to 5th gear anytime you want. Actually, it is recommended to always use the highest gear to achieve better fuel economy. Great video.

  • @gentle285 Thanks bud! I was trying to not doing it in the city just because it loses all it's acceleration at that point :P at least for city driving, tried to run it a bit a the end though

  • @gentle285: yeah, try shifting in 5-th after you just pulled away in 1st and watch how your engine cuts out.

  • @codrinseth15 Shift into 5th after the first gear? What are you talking about?

  • @gentle285: you cannot shift into 5th gear anytime you want. If your speed isn't high enough, your top gear will drop the rpm of the engine below its power range and it will die out. You have to go through all the gears until your speed is high enough so that your top gear (5th or 6th on most cars) won't drop the rpm too much and then mentain your speed and that gear to achieve the best fuel economy. From my experience 60-70 mph and 6th gear will give you the best economy.

  • @codrinseth15 Well, it is depending on the gear ratios. Many cars can handle the fifth gear doing just 37mph.

  • @gentle285: True, but other cars with smaller engines can't handle 5th or 6th at 37 mph. It wouldn't be a problem for that Chevy though.

  • @codrinseth15 my mom's 2003 yaris (1L engine) can go 20 MPH in 5th gear... And my instructer's Honda jazz/fit could do it. The engine will only stall if you stop without using the clutch, or if you start in a high gear (1st and 2nd works the best). My mom's car will wobble and struggle if you put it in 5th at about 10 MPH (I've tried it) but above that, it won't stall whatever gear you're in.

  • Oh and I should clarify. I know this isn't his job, but I learned how to drive manual in a similar way.

  • That was quite nice actually

  • Kyle, your videos are well made, enjoyable to watch, and provide me with endless entertainment. Thank You so much for what you with your videos. Much luck in the future.

  • @d0ugz24 Thanks my friend that means a lot!

  • Thanks for informing us about that light indicator. I never knew a light came up when you had to shift when there isn't a RPM gauge.

  • Nice you just gave me a lesson of how to drive a manual car. Thanks Kyle

  • You can see how much better you've gotten at driving a manual, especially after watching the nissan sentra vid from 2008.

  • @586mich I watched that video before watching this one. Very nice! I learned how to drive a manual at work as well.

  • @586mich omg that video was horrible haha, I think I disabled comments and ratings on it a while ago I thought it was that bad! Thanks bud!

  • My Isuzu Rodeo has an upshift light too but it's supposed to be an "upshift for fuel economy" light so it comes on when I hit 2,000 RPM XD

  • That clutch pedal seems to be really high up :X

  • @patrickpl94 Yeah it is

  • i drove an automatic today for the first time in idk...5 months?? and i accidently left foot braked bc i thought i had to push in the clutch when i was coming to a stop.

    nice video, like always

  • Awesome video!

  • Could you look for a Ford Ranger next? I wanna see how they compare.

  • it's funny that I see a Lexus ad at the right of your video... Fits you well man lol

  • thats why i wont buy another 4 cylinder

  • lol! you could make a "how to drive a stick shift" video by using your driving. its a perfect camera angle, this little truck will make someone happy!

  • That Truck Would Ne Nice For Ted Williams !!!!

  • Kyle, you must have been driving alot of manuals bro, you have gotten alot better at shifting.

    Nice truck as well.

  • @Lunchbox21984 Thanks bro, preciate it!

  • @saabkyle04 yea ur alot better, i definately have to agree.

  • @speacialperson12345 Thanks dude!!

  • @saabkyle04 Now, we just have to get you to power shift!

  • @Maine684 Hahaha look up the video "twin turbo pt cruiser power shifting" or something like that and "5289 hp nissan 350z crash" ;D

  • Nice truck it sounds like my 95 4 cylinder wrangler with the exhaust and my cousin has a white sonoma that looks just like this but his is stock and has a cap

  • was that shifter hard to get used to?

  • hey i got a recommendation! you should do a tutorial of how to drive a manual and set it up just like you did with playing this video. that was so cool!!

  • @XClone08 It's best to try manual out for yourself rather than a video. Driving manual is just one of those things you need to get the feel for (balancing clutch and gas, when to shift and things like clutch feel in high torque motors). I drove a bit in my Uncle's Honda Accord and I made the car jerk and move like it never did before lol.

  • @7477238 yeah dude i think the same way. it just wouldnt hurt to watch a video like that

  • u just taught me how to drive a 5 speed

    'lol"

  • Kyle I like this view better than from the back seat. It's more like driving it. Just a suggestion. Great videos!!

  • can u do a video of a 2003 oldsmobile alero plz and thx u

  • can u do a video of a 2003 oldsmobile alero plz and thx u

  • do u still have your es350?

  • what are u gonna do with this peac of crap!

  • i just like the v8 sound , and you??

  • C.H.E.V.Y.

  • no red line for a good time?! waaaaaaaaa

  • i want it.

  • good vid as usual Kyle. seems like a decent little truck. how much ya selling it for?

  • i don't understand why european cars haven't oil temperature and charging (V) indicator

  • How much horsepower is that? 60? :P

  • @derbigpr500 120 LOL and 140 FTLBS torque hahaha

  • I saw a Chrysler Pacifica on your family's car lot. Are they good vehicles?

  • @M67v no one cares

  • @xmanguy94 Yuo suck. Your saying you don't care? Your terrible

  • @xmanguy94 PS who the heck will rate that

  • @M67v well, im not here for sympathy or fame. im here to watch videos without spammers like you.

  • @M67v PS its "you", not "yuo"

  • Wow. There are many automatic luxurious cars which are fast, but just having the trill to drive a manual truck, which is lighter than the majority of house like trucks found today, and which makes that kind of sound is a pure thrill of its own. Sometimes, I wish I had a good job in a small town where all I do is go places in my truck. City is relatively crammed.

Thanks man. You are doing such an awesome job. Kudos to you.

  • @saabkyle04 im m67v's older bro but im more interested in video-games than cars i only came cause pple were dissing m67v

  • hey everyone can we stop fighting over m67v's comment call me corny but i dnt wanna fight anymore i want peace -_-

  • More videos about BMW

  • OMG... nice sound :) +1

  • @saabkyle04 ur right fighting is pntless let alone fighting over the net lol

  • @7477238 ok im sorry i dnt want to fight anymore u too carguy79

  • Sheesh, Kyle u need 2 do something to these people who want to mess with me! And sorry if that comment dat i first made hurt your fellings!

  • @M67v Nah ur good, it'll be a while before I can go back to lexus, I don't go for services anymore since I don't have mine haha. There's nothing I can do about that, just ignore it, arguing over the internet is pointless lol

  • @saabkyle04 Do u no any chat rooms so we can chat.

  • Comment removed

  • I like all the videos you do! They don't have to be bran new Mercedes, I like the variety in your videos.

  • @geedunk13 Thanks bud! I have some really rare things coming in the future

  • @saabkyle04 Air planes? Kawasaki ninja? lol MORE LAWN MOWERS!?!?!?!

  • Kyle, I love the vids, Keep em comin, my friend my favorite video you had so far was the one with the 1979 Dodge lil Red Express, if you could tell me what kind of problems were on it, id be willing to buy it
