for some reason when I load the hms123311.wad it won't play the super sonic music by bad religion, and also, srb2JTE it says the lump for the super virus music is missing and the red super viruses are instead blue squares, what is my problem?

HMSMADNESS is simply an alias command i made!

It simply adds 20 hms bots! All it does is send the 'addfile hms123311.wad' command 20 times!

hey im back & found out the reason y i coulden't play openGL i just needed 2 rename it srb2win (it refuses to read srb2jte when i change the exe thing) now a new prob it only plays in windowed mode & that hurts my eyes (cross eyes) now it says "load library() FAILED:coulden't load r'_openGL.dll wtf is that if you know speak up thank you for helping bw

thx and FINAL QUESTIONS I PROMISE i got the launcher but every time i use it it says "runtime error 53 not found" then i found a run time thing & it doesent do anything so i used it in the original srb2 and it says it cannot run cuz there is no srb2 dot srb even though it is there can u help plz last time & fyi FoxBlitzz is the one whose crazt k its in the wiki!

ummm.....now you got me!

I never encountered a runtime error when i was running the launcher the first time, but if the srb2(dot)srb is corrupted, then i suggest reinstalling the game, and if you don't want to lose all your gamedata you collected, then i suggest copying the IWAD file only (the srb2(dot)srb one) into your srb2 directory! That's all i can help for now, sorry that 'runtime error' caught me :S

I was expecting these questions...

DOS is the almost first operation system by Microsoft (i think), but i suggest installing Total Commander, and at the bottom of the screen you see a box, where you can type in 'srb2jte -opengl'!

Mystic's SRB2 launcher is downloadable at srb2(dot)org!

To access the hardware mode, follow my first answer!

To change into hardware mode, add the '-opengl' parameter after the srb2jte in your DOS console, or install mystic's SRB2 launcher, and check the OpenGL Mode in Main options

You would know what is MHCCAT stands for, if you watched the first part of the HMS video! Or if you still don't know, then it stands for Multi-Homing-Chaos-Control-Arm­ageddon-Thok named by JTE in the SRB2 forums!

OpenGL is a 3D accelator video card, which is the only video card this game supports!

You might have already known, but try pausing when: HMS dies, Eggman fires a missle, player hits eggman, Eggman dies (pause as first explosion appears to avoid echoes), and when HMS kills an opponent on multiplayer (3 auto taunts) and you can hear the full sounds. And the music doubling with the speedup powerup naturaly happens when any character is Super on SRB2JTE. Try this on the voice wad (I'm sure you have), it's funny. Btw, I'm sure he says "fear" not feel. Anyways, nice review over HMS.

Glad to help. The reason this happens is because usally the object associated with the sound dissapears before the sound is completed (i.e. all you would hear when you killed Eggman is the first boom parts because the explosion sounds don't last long if you don't pause). Like it when he goes "My tooooeee!... I think I'm dead now."? :)
