@64notorious exactly. I live in upstate NY and pike will eat ANYTHING that will fit in there mouth and sometimes stuff that wont. They will eat baby ducks, muskrats, baby loons, moles, field mice. I have seen pictures of pike that have choked to death with 3- 5 lb bass in there mouths. There are some videos on here if you search of pike and musky grabbing other pike and musky that are being reeled in. Its nuts

It's a really cool looking action, but that's not how pike or muskie swim. It looks like itd be very stimulating to the fish but i think theyd kinda go, "oh a snake that looks tasty." not trying to bash it, its a beautiful lure and i think the action is great and imitates a snake well, but not a pike or muskie. they're propulsion rarely involves full body movement. amazing craftsmanship though. then again, i dont think fish really care what their eating, just that they're eating, so id use it!

@nativeslayer56 they say that best way to catch a pike is to use little pike as a bait, but since its illegal to take pike shorter than 45cm(in our country) i'd say this is perfect lure for catching pike!
