  • That is perhaps the most gifted performance, I´ve heard. I have now had the pleasure of learning the name of the pianist, Valerij Asaniev, - but do anyone know who the violinist is?

  • @metteholm75

Thomas Zehetmair is my most favourite Violinist !

His expression is really the best in the world ! (in my opinion) You have to listen to his violin concerto of brahms !

  • Excellent performance!

Both violin and piano sound like one soul

Elegant, careful dynamics with inner freedom and passion, real Beethoven's fire!

    Highly talented musicians, very inspiring

  • That is one hell of a violinist...either it was my allergies, or I was really about to cry when he was playing those high notes towards the end of this video! Very beautiful...

  • Beautiful

  • it is like the music is right there in the room it shows his brillance on what he does and he is deaf and he writes all of this mucic very genious

  • Great. An intelligent, very musical performance of the most complex sonata of Beethoven. Both payed many attention on the "strange", peculiar, sudden dynamic changes, effects which are typical of Beethoven and usually couse difficulties to performers. (Unfortunately we have only a fragment with this interpretation on the YouTube.)

  • Amazing playing!!!!

  • And you're ignorant and sad!

  • @zacefron408 wow

  • Afanassiev's accompaniment is brightly, intelligent, elegant and so beautiful.

    Bravo!
