Well just to give someone hell, i like 1 stack way better then 2, see if you don't divide the exhaust right then you look like a prick when one side is blowing everything out and the other is limp dickin around, i have a 4" on my dodge and to me that makes way more sense, 3" turbo outlet, 4" stack, more resonable, and with the rain cap on i'm garanteed to irritate the piss outta people, ahahahahaha. oh and my pipe goes under the frame, so i dont waste bed space by running it up the middle. =)

actually 1999-2002 was the 7.3 DI turbo diesel, 2003 was a unique year becasue it featured the 7.3 and the 6.0. the reason the 6.0 came out is because it featured EGR and reduced emissions. 6.0 was standard 2003-2007. 2008 introduced the 6.4 with even better emissions because of the EGR and a DPF. SO SHUT THE FUCK UP PLEASE

This will help the water drain, but when you turn the truck on the heat from the exhaust will evaporate the remaining water pretty quick.

Black smoke is not "bad" per say. Black smoke is, in simple terms, more fuel being injected into the cylinder than there is air thus creating a "rich" combustion event. Whats bad is people running the engine too rich resulting in excessively high exhaust gas temperatures. That's when pistons start to melt and head gaskets get burned. Black smoke and "soot" are natural parts of a diesel engines operation, it running too hot that is "a bad thing"
