Remember when Reaper Splinter Cells were mentioned? The Reaper agents that destroyed everything in the background when the Protheans were annihilated? I believe Illusive Man is one of those Reaper Cells. Think about it. Unknown information on Reapers, works together with Reapers and Collectors. Is one of the richeat men in the galaxy. Cruel and merciless etc.

my only concern with this is who all comes back from ME1 &2 because i playeed throuhg 1, imported him to 2 and hopefully will import to 3 unless i decide to say screw it, but anyways, who the hell comes back?

@MrRat5092 Well, Liara and Garrus are Permanent, as well as a new guy named James Vega. Ashley also makes an apperance and Anderson is a temporary squady. I think most of the characters are going to return, provided they survived in ME1 and ME2

Liara and Garrus's new outfits kinda got given away in ME2. Liara's is the same as LoTSB and Garrus, the same as when you make him Loyal.

Whoa whoa whoa...Hold the phone. At 1:00, is he holding the shotgun in the cutscene because that's the weapon he was holding when it started? Hallelujah! No more awkward magical assault rifles popping out of the air whenever they need it in a cutscene.

@1upD Yay! Didn't like how Shepard was always holding a shitty shuriken when pointing a gun in cutscenes despite having a bigass Phalanx Hand Cannon! Kinda reminds me of Halo CE and Halo 3 where the Master Chief ALWAYS has an Assault Rifle in cutscenes even if you don't have one.

@SinDawg030 I actually thought the Shuriken looked cool in cutscenes, but I know what you mean. There's one scene in LotSB where the SMG actually turns into a pistol in between shots. It's really obvious when you switch from the Tempest. It bothered me less in Halo, where the Assault Rifle was the Chief's signature weapon, than Mass Effect, where you create the main character.

@Swicey69 It says in the beta clips that Shepherd thinks Cerberus has been indoctrinated and the TIM back story in the Dark Horse Comic Evolution alludes to the possibility he's been exposed to Reaper technology and all. So, if the Reapers took control of him when they arrived, makes sense he'd attack Shepherd.

What I do know is that it makes absolutely no sense for TIM to willingly attack Shepard and his allies.

I think the reason why the Illusive Man betrays Commander Shepherd because he probably find a way to defeat the reapers, but wants to wipe out anyone who gets in his way for his dominance.

In the Mass Effect Novel: Retribution, it is stated Cerberus ships salvaging the remains of the Collectors vessel. So hey may have re-engineered a weapon.
