Remember Eliong Fire Incident where 5 persons died. Eliong is just 100 meters from the Binondo fire brigade. Apr. 20, 2005
WHEN firemen managed to bring him to safety, away from the family's burning building in Binondo, Manila, 25-year-old Elizalde Chua decided to go back.
Elizalde's body was the first to be recovered after a fire hit the Eliong Commercial building at No. 589 Quintin Paredes St. at 2:37 a.m. The fire was declared under control at 1:46 pm, almost 12 hours after it started.
isa lng po ang pag extinguish ng lpg fire dapat i switch off nyo lng. kasi gas yan kahit takpan mo yan magliliyab pa rin yan, at pag fire extinguisher ginamit nyo di rin uubra kasi gas nga.
This firefighter, (if he is a professional firefighter as he claims) would lose his credentials/license/certification if he tried this stunt in a first world country.
you are excellent, thank you for posting this video and sharing your knowldege I am actually needed some information of safety and tips...may i know about the air noise coming from the gas stove when i click it just making a noise but no flame and once it light up the flame reducing without even adjusting and i had to click it again it smell gas only...i was afraid that it may explode if i keep doing it...i think i should replace a new stove...? thank you very much...God bless you...
Looks like crap to me. See how close he had to get to the flames. See how long it took him. Better off using an ABC dry powder fire extinguisher. Stand back and let the extinguisher do the job!
Yes I agree with you Alajohnstone. But what I am trying to point out, if it happened to those household with no portable fire extinguisher. Actually, after that video I have let them used the portable.
I am a professional firefighter trying to enlightened the participants with regards to the LPG fire on what to do and how to extinguished a similar scenario. Huge fires occur as a result of less knowledge about this LPG. Because of the same thinking that the cylinder will explode or what you are calling rocketed.I have experienced several actual occurrences as a firefighter and just want share with you people.I am not making a "stunt" out of this video.FYI we are not in an enclosed hall.
I am speaking on a different language on that video that seems you don't understand.
I am teaching my participants on what to do in case of LPG fire on their residence. On a congested community. Since a lot of fire incident happened due to this gas, because of lock of information they just run away and as a result is a conflagration.

doubt the UK H&S would approve of that "stunt" in a crowded hall what if the cylinder rocketed
