Grain reserves are non-existent; since the majority of harvests is being shipped world-wide from places like the US and Russia (Argentina) as soon as the harvest is complete.
The price of grains (and other foods) will rise anyway. However, coupled with inflation or currency collapse it is going to be a deadly combination.

Of course it's not a matter of this season or next one. Also western farmers can reduce production or destroy excessive harvest by the reason to not ruin prices (as it was in the time of western Great depression). So all is possible. I don't say that prices will go down for sure.
