I bought 2 of these units. It is very hard to open the remote to install the battery. The trick to opening it, is to pry the cover up open after turning the cover with the coin. The FM transmitter is very poor and does not wok well enough to use in our car. The remote does work well and overall it is a good navigation unit. No ipod interface. I stupidly paid $600 at Best Buy. Now 2 days later they have them online at Best Buy for $500. Somehow I feel ripped off all the way around!
