  • I was kind of surprised by how well Mike De Kock's horse, Musir, ran in this race. I've always sort of considered him much better on a synthetic surface after seeing him race primarily on the tapeta at Meydan during the past 2 Dubai Carnivals. But De Kock also sent him to Newbury in the UK for the G2 Hungerford Stakes over 7f, and he finished 3rd behind a very talented Excelebration. I did however think that 7f may be a tad short for Musir. I think he's better at a mile to 9f. JMO.

  • A much deserved G1 win for Xtension. He's run big races in the Coventry Stakes, Vintage Stakes, Dewhurst Stakes, English 2000 Guineas, Irish 2000 Guineas, Prix Jean-Prat, and Prix Eugene Adam. Plus the Hong Kong Classic Cup and Hong Kong Derby. But had only managed to win the G2 Vintage Stakes prior to this win. Xtension now hold's an entry to come back to the UK in June to Royal-Ascot to run in the 2011 Queen Anne Stakes. Hope he shows to run against Goldikova, Canford Cliffs and Dick Turpin.

  • @GBeret83 Xtension is a very good horse, he'll try his best in every race. He deserves this win, though looks a little but tough. But still, it's too difficult for him to race against Goldikova, CC, and DT, especially in UK. “I’d like to have a go at the Ascot race,” said Moore. “Maybe the likes of Canford Cliffs and Goldikova will stretch him, but it would be good to go for the atmosphere and the occasion.”
