It just seems odd - maybe as I said before that Otis maybe created that voice first before the later versions of Stannahs came out as this Otis is quite old.
As far as I know it is an origional otis lift but with a weird stannah type voice. Maybe otis created this voice first and then Stannah copied it with their later designs as this is an old lift.
This is a strange lift. It is a residential version of an Otis 2000H, but it does not have Otis logic. notice that the call buttons do not light up at the right time.
I think I watched your video of this lift in this place and it didn't have a voice? What kind of logic do most otis lifts have in relevance to this one?
@harrihealey02 When you go in a normal Otis 2000 or Gen2 lift, when the buttons light up, when it chimes and what order it serves the floors etc. follows a certain behaviour pattern. This lift does not follow the same pattern, it has some sort of generic logic controller, (look for the small details, eg. the call button somtimes stays lit after the doors have opened. and the outside call buttons also lights up when someone inside the lift presses the button to go to that floor).
I do think Stannah could well maintain it which reminds me I need to send an email about a lift.

What a strange chime.

Yeah it's very strange, it's also featured in most of the Stannahs new chime and voice.
