I have it on dvd. WHY did they have to make Birdy into an asexual autistic virgin obsessed with birds? Why not just a cool guy who was into birds? I can look past casting adults to play teenagers but Birdy is a totally Weird Autistic Aspergian Loser who Cage's character would NEVER hang out with in reality, which made the story less believable without a homoerotic subplot. I hate Jews & Autistics but I LOVED watching Autistic Birdy rot in the Psych-Ward tortured by the Jewish asshole doctor.

Always loved this movie. Cage actually had a few good teeth removed to add to the effect of his wound. Talk about dedication to the craft.
