Erm... Necrons do have souls. They just so diminished and dulled, that there little more then a flicker. Think the Tau. The Tau are none psychic, but they have souls and are not nulls or anything like that.

Basically Tau and Necron Souls are not as appealing to the Chaos Gods as Human and Eldar Souls witch are much brighter.

That's not true. The followers of Chaos do not all serve one particular Chaos God in a uniform fashion. In fact, the majority of the Chaos Space Marines are divided equally into four groups, with each serving one of the four major Chaos Gods, while the rest tend to treat and serve all four equally. Example:

Thousand Sons = Tzeentch

Emperor's Children = Slaanesh

World Eaters = Khorne

Death Guard = Nurgle

Word Bearers = Chaos Undivided (All four)

So unless the C.Marines on Kronus were from

a Legion that serves Khorne and Khorne only, it is not at all odd to see altars being set up for different gods.

Sigh, we all know that, I meant the Chaos Marines you play as mostly serve the armies of Khourne, hence their demons and hence their sayings like more skulls for the skull throne.

Until I see different Chaos Marines shouting out for different gods and having different demons, we can only assume the majority of the chaos marines we play from Dow to Soulstorm are of Khorne.
