  • I don't think the black rock was a pirate ship, it was the ship that brought Richard to the island, A storm did bring it on also causing it to hit the serpant statue on the way in. but the ship was taking prisoners to their fate when storm hit. Richard was one of them and only one to live. but then you might of had this theory before that episode aired in season6

  • check this one out: youtube.com/watch?v=szfesDG5fRU

  • I think richard never ages because of electromagnetim (if you make a search on the web you will see that magnetism is curable) and Jacob (or the protecter of the island) can direct electromagnetism (or magnetism)

  • whoa, awesome.....

  • Great Post, There was a show on UK TV that went into the Narinia books containing stories on 3 levels. The Charlotte connection got me thinking about that. Nice theroy and I think there's something in it. Nice one

  • dude that charlotte part was rad.

  • i will be favoritinf this..b/c you are very knowledgable. The thing is..LOST references all the books it uses ideas from (the book club). Why was CS Lewis never mentioned?

  • Dude..it's 3am here in PA...although i like your analogy....i have a good reason why you, and no one, will ever be right. First, the people who WRITE LOST have people who are hired to scan peoples theories...find connections...then, they write the opposite to shock the audience. They take all story possibilities and eliminate what is predicted by people like you who post stuff. That way..anything they write will never be predicted and foretasted. Thats is the LOST theory...

  • Except for the fact lots of people predicted that evil Locke is the smoke monster and it turned out that way, also heaps of people predicted that time travel would be the explanation for some of the mysteries. Sorry, just sayin!

  • @timlukanowski That's actually not true. The LOST writers have had the series mapped out since the beginning. The only plot points they hadn't totally fleshed out were those revealed in the final season. Otherwise it wouldn't be as tight as it is. Everything fits perfectly.

  • @timlukanowski how do you know this?

  • Very cool , I like all theories that have to do with the greatest idea for television ever created.

  • haha its a nice theory

but i dont beleive its correct

    good work!

  • LOST IS AWESOME. Nice theory.

  • maybe its alien (the others) and jacob

  • Dude did he change shirts in like one second?

  • The best theory is that its 2 gods on the island one name Jacob and that black smoke Jacob says that people are bad people but Jacob says that they are good people the Others are Slaves to the God Jacob or something like that Dharma people knows that this island is special Answer to numbers = The numbers is the reason he will fly all the others have a reason too ((I mean The Lost People not The Other)) But anyway all is a test all the stuffs is Jacob and the smoke monster ...

  • Narnia is completely nothing compared to lost , but anyway good vid !

  • hey, Great thought but..not really a "theory" It doesnt answer any questions or mysteries. Whispers/smokey/numbers/Jacob etc. I mean lost is about the charectors...the oceanic 6. This theory doesnt explain why they are all connected. Again..good find though and very interesting! Unvail more of your theory though!

  • The numbers are the important numbers of an equation of when doomsday is. therefore adding all them together saves them.

  • yes the producers have admitted that they pay reference to narnia in the show

  • I just realized that Charlotte was born 1979 yet in 1977 she was a little girl.??..... cool video It's cool to hear different theories,I personally think that lost is it's own show and just try's to put heaps of references in there of other program's but good thoughts.

  • time goes slower on the island!!!!!!

  • dude is that pilot Parkman from Heroes?

  • yeah he was reading Jacks thoughts right there

  • dont let toddsmith be a dick to you...

it IS parkman from heroes! greg grunberg is his name to be exact, and he was actually supposed to take the place of the lostie leader (jack was meant to die in the premiere), but he ended up producing and starring in heroes instead.

  • I like it

  • interesting thoughts - I love reading all the different theories. I personally think the story of Jacob is tied to everything. I wil be totally LOST until Feb. 2010!

  • Concured.

  • cool connection with charlotte dude

  • From watching the season finale your theory looks very plausible now.

  • swweeeet mountain dew shirt....even cooler lotr poster dude...how old are you? you are like 40!

  • hey this was a pretty fun theory.

  • where did u get the LOST music please answer.. =)

  • iTunes. They have the complete soundtracks from the seasons with Michael Giacchino's grand compositions.

  • nice

jj abrams is a freaking genius i love lost

  • I like the idea of there being an eternal faith to the mantra of the show: possibly an spiritual, atlantean origin to the "others" born to the island by small people..

  • whta is up w/ all the midgets in this show?

  • 4 8 15 LOST 16 23 42

  • sooooo wats up with all the whispers in garden of eden ... ???

  • alpert was a pirate

  • possible

  • i dont have a theory myself but lost is the greatest show on television. also you have to send this in to abc or jj abrams!

  • Holy cow...

    that's a great theory!

Awesome find on the Chronicles connection.

    Kudos to you!

  • God what song is that, they've used it a lot and it sounds very epic. I think they are going to end the series with that song

  • found it,,it's name is "locke'd out again" by Michael Giachinno..it was played on the episode in season 1 when boon died locke was crying and slaming his hands on the hatch door with scenes of him angry after his dad took his kidney,,great episode s01e19 "deus ex Machina"

  • found it,,it's name is "locke'd out again" by Michael Giachinno..it was played on the episode in season 1 when boon died locke was crying and slaming his hands on the hatch door with scenes of him angry after his dad took his kidney,,great episode s01e19 "deus ex Machina"

  • Indeed it's quite a good song I listen to it often on my iPod. Michael Giachinno is a very talented composer.

  • Another thing to consider as well is the fact that CS Lewis based all of his things on the bible. The island could be the garden of eden read the theories on that, cause i think they collide with that.

  • wait wait wait WTF charllote was born in 1979 how??? we saw her in 1977 in the dharma iniatiative THAATS PRETTY FUCKED UP I THINK THEY SCREWED WITH THAT PART AND FORGOT ABOUT IT

  • good point

  • although not what i think lost is very interesting. You might wanna also think about the station the lamppost as this is what CS Lewis uses to mark Narnia in the books.

  • Like C S Lewis writings and countless other brilliant works throughout history, i think LOST is telling us something, WE are lost, we've forgotton who we are and when we are. Timelines, dharma, the wheel, creating our own reality, death is an illusion, collective conciousness, looking glass station. its all there, its screaming at us !! but needs more in depth discussion than there is room for here.

  • good theory...now pay attention to the egyptian culture ;)

  • THE BIG LOST VOTE! best male.............the vote has started! simply go 2 my page and follow the link:

THE BIG LOST VOTE! ..........best male.........

and vote for your fave male from lost

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • What is your theory? You just stated information.

  • I think that the Island in LOST could be the same Island referenced in Narnia.

  • That is a very good theory..But who is Jacob? I'm starting to think that w/ this seasons time travel storyline, it will affect many thories that have been floated. Cool theory though.

  • hey, do you have any theories on how the show is going to end?

  • i have a few theories on how it might end, but knowing the genius's behind LOST I'm sure I'll be wrong. Most of my theorizing has been thrown off by the recent episode but I definitely think Locke will lead the Others and that the Oceanic 6 will remain on the Island.

  • my dad agrees with this theory you may be on to something

  • lost is the best show ever

  • lost is the best show ever

  • Good job! I know that you will not believe this, but I made this connection quite some time ago as I remembered the event from reading "Prince Caspian" years ago.

  • Good job on the Charlotte theory!!

  • hi i like ur lost thoughts, if u have time go 2 my lost vid n c what u think xx

  • What about this theory? dowdblog - dot - wordpress - dot - com

  • Good theory. I love both Narnia and lost and it would be a good show if this turned out true.

  • Your right on!!! thanks

  • I think your right on

  • How about this theory. Remember a few seasons ago when you saw that four toed statue for a second? Now, in episode 2 or 3 in season 5 Sawyer steps on something in the jungle but nothing is said of it. Sawyer is going to get an infection, lose his toe, time travel back many many years and do something heroic. We will find out that the 4 toed statue is a monument of Sawyer.

  • Wow! Impressive theory! That is both plausible and probable. I applaude you.

  • I love sawyer...but i dnt want him 2 loose his toe...but dats good...

  • But it's not really your theory, is it? smolesuik said the excact same thing in his recap.

  • It is my theory. Who is smolesuik? I was reading The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian in preparation for the upcoming movie since I hadn't read it since I was younger and I formulated the theory as I read.

  • Sorry, Lindquist! My comment was meant as a reply to chambalyn a bit further down the page (3 weeks ago). That the four-toed statue could be Sawyer. smolesuik said the same thing in his recap, but maybe he heard it here first, who knows? Check out his theories and recaps, they are very detailed and interesting. He has a channel here on YouTube, search for it! :-)

  • No worries mate

  • yeh it is

apparantly dharma (as in the dharma initiative) is indian 4 something like afterlife.

Also, my own little thoery is:

have u ever seen the movie 'The Truman Show' with Jim Carrey. Well maybe part of the dharma experimentation is that theyre seeing how humans react to it all (as in the people on the plane)

  • yeh it is

good theory. i heard that dharma (as in the dharma initiative) is indian 4 something like afterlife

but if they were all dead how did some of them get off the island??

  • Hey is the pilot Matt Parkman from Heroes?

  • yes, the actor who plays matt parkman and j j abrams are good friends and jj arbams finds little roles for him in all of his stuff

  • Yes producers have already admitted there ara alot of simarlaritys between the two even naming one of the characters c.s lewis. good observation losty

  • The comparison with Narnia does seem very deep but is quite believable, are there any links between timescale on the island and timescale in ther real world like in the book where 1 year is 100 years in Narnia Great theorey though

  • You got me. This is the right theory.

  • Very well done! And FindYourselfLOST that ice cave were Ben "moves" the island could not be the box because Locke asks Ben if it is and Ben tells him no

  • the box or "magical cave" could indeed be the frozen donkey wheel cave or the "casimir" as some people reffer to it as, great ideas BUT the outside world can reach the island as we saw in season 4, its not completly unreachable, just hard to get to

  • wow, never really looked into Richard, but ya, he doesn't seem to age.

  • great vid and theory, since the characther of charlote apear on lost i think a lot of people stared thinking what u say. the whole thing with richard is so great and smart and really makes sence in the way u put it. im really gladd on how both the show lost and the movies narnias are coming out at the same time.

  • interesting,.. only problem i have is that "black box" was a metaphor, Ben even says that to John later on when he asks about it again.. He is saying that strange things enter the island, and too often to be a coincidence. Its true that mush of the writing is inspired by past novels, there are sooo many references to books and authors...

  • dont u mean "magic box"? ...still get whatyou mean though.

  • Well done Josh, I think I understand what you were saying. Best theory!

  • I love the theory bout Charlette. Not sure about the rest...but good stuff !!

  • Hey congatulations!! Nice thinking!! I agree with you!! Lost is the best show on TV!! It is a very good theory!!

  • nice shirt change, for the better... i dont have much to offer as a lost or c.s.lewis theory... i liked it... :)

  • sorry josh but lost is not that good

but your ideas are cool good thinking

that was pretty smooth changing shirts like that...
