Hindemith says the 7th harmonic is a slightly lower B note which is called "segah" in eastern music, and it is the most used "microtonal note" in east music.
This question is for actual or former MIT students:
In 2008, graduating from High School, I ended with 86% of general average which converts to a 4.0 GPA (Which MIT basically places as a requirement to their students). Althout, my SAT was a few points under the required score.
Considering this, I am now planning on applying for University. Are the requirements the same for College Students going to MIT for university level, please!

Finally MIT showing something with conceptual teachings and of use!
I want this video on my U8500 phone.

Excellent lecture!
We've solved the wave equation in an applied math course, but this lecture brought my understanding to a whole new level!
Before the solution was just a super position of an infinite number of combination of cosines and sines! But now it makes sense :D
Fourier was right!

5th times a charm , I wish I had 27 K to go to MIT or atleast hang out with Walter Lewin :'[
I love his style , But I do believe he's teaching from the wrong instruction books.
My unified field theory would without a doubt impress him.

I had to watch this 2 times in a row just because it's THE BEST lecture yet...Music is the only science you really need!
