He didn't calculate anything, he just take them out to see his scores again ( means the professor absolutely doesn't remember )

It is not discussed that the student has not understood anything, BUT, he says that I don't have enough notes !

The student has a ploblem about his score test ,so he go to see the professor to consulte him. The professor knows why the student got low score .The cuasing is the student did not revise the take note and did not read textbook in every day.He reads textbook one day befor the test.The professor give the student recommendations such as going to libary after class,re-reading take note and reading text book.the professor is considerate teacher.

there is only one thing i don't get: do you have to answer in the same time as they are reading the questions or you have some minutes more? Am I the only one who finds hard to read all the choices before they skip to the next question? :S

at first glance, it maybe right! But when you listen to the conversation carefully, you will realize that the conclusion of both the professor and the student is to understand the material better~

I think the obvious answer is D. he has bad marks because he didnt do a lot of things. He was superficial and he was reading his courses just in the night before the examination. As the professor advised him he has to do a lot of work to get better marks. Getting detailed notes is just a part of the work he has to do to improve his marks.

This is my opinion. I think the D option Is the only correct answer.

The reason is because in some part of the lecture, the student mentions he takes a lot of notes. Nevertheless, he does not re-read those notes and therefore his performance in the class never improves.

because the student doesn't take note and before the test, he just read the material in books. and because he didn't understand the material, he failed. So, in the end, the professor suggest him taking note to understand better the material!

@crazyshylove The man had these notes in his notebook. It is not his notes are poor or not enough. The problem is he did not know how to combine between the notes and material. He also had no much time to review his notes. So the correct answer is D.

i dont agree. the boy says in the conversation that he do not take nots, he do not read more than one day ahead of the test day and he is embarrassed that he dont understand the material. how can you say that only D is right? When it is clare that Band C also should be ringt.

You can find the answers at the very bottom of the "MORE INFO" section that is located at the right of the video. You will have to scroll down quite a bit to get to them because I wanted to make sure nobody would see them by mistake. Good luck.

Oh and by the way, the answers are at the same place for all the videos "listening test 101 to 106"
