I rechecked the songwriting credits and Parnell and all the Hot Links are listed as I thought they were. Even so, because of the opening piano riff and the way the piano is so prominent, I long thought this was Kevin's baby to begin with. The whole band smoked it. One of the best instrumentals ever.

I always thought McKendree was the instigator for this song. I think he said that Chuck Leavell was one of his biggest influences.

Kevin McKindree is the ultimate piano player. He and Parnell were up for a Grammy for this tune. What an instrumental masterpiece!
