How quickly we forget, or is it a case of the ignorance of youth? If you are tired of America thinking they are great, look to Europe's failures. Two World Wars started by Europe forced America to the forefront. Being the last man standing, who else was going to keep Europe from mucking it up again or the Soviets from taking all of Europe? Europe can help clean it's imperial messes so we can take a break.

Unlimitedg... Mutual assured destruction+ cold war. Why sting sings this... OK he is saying that the Russia, America, and Britain (Stings homeland during the cold war) are in a state that if one shoots the other will shoot. Now sting says he believes in neither sides points of views. Why he doesn't believe in either is because he knows either side would defend themselves and cause mutual assured destruction. It's called Russians most likely then; due to the Russians being the likely shooters.

That's unfortunate that you see it that way. Why aren't European leaders (I knew you were from Portugal) asking the US military to leave? It would be SO easy to pull our military out from the rest of the world, and just protect our own selfish interests at home. What is the Cold War you are referring to? Europe not wanting to go along with Iraq? OK. Cold War?? I don't think so. We wouldn't want to help protect Europe if we thought we were in some kind of Cold War with them.
