Forgot to add, it still sounds good. Say you were walking through the forest and came upon a little water nymph playing this in her reed pond. It would (firstly) be surprising, but also enchanting and beautiful. Keep up the good work gili1484.
the piano is really awfull,in both parts...i hope she is not a teacher :P....your sychronization is not good but i think it's problem of the pianist...
And I feel super embarrassed about asking, cause I'm a college student, but how did you get your double tongue so clear and concise? I haven't been taught how, and I'm becoming frustrated with it. I can't double tongue quickly at all.
its not as hard as it sounds like... instand of touging like "tatatatata" you have to do "takatak" or in low notes "daka" think about that... one tounge on ka... start practicing on one long note "takataka" and then progress slowly into a chromatic scale..
@jayriggzy Practice them slowly at first using "ta-ka" (or ta-ka-ta ka-ta-ka ta-ka-ta for triple tonguing). After a while they almost tongue themselves, but need to synchronize them slowly to start off. You can also use "ti-ddle id-dle id-ddle" and probably other syllables that you can think up. Try doing a fast chromatic scale from top to bottom while doing "tiddle iddle iddle iddle" all the way down (interesting effect).
Oh geez. It's not your fault that some parts aren't good, it's because of the pianist. I've been told by a piano player I performed with that it is the piano's responsibility to keep you going. You're the soloist; you have enough to think about without trying to keep your piano player on the same tempo as you.
oooh deeeear @ your pianist.... has she never played collaboratively before? XD
Also was the huge tempo change in the second half a choice or by accident?
I think the only thing it needs is more practice. You're obviously capable, it just needed more time (the alignment of articulation and notes in the second half, and sound issues in the first half especially in the lower register)
in fact i fought the pianist about her slowing down so much she wouldn't listen... and well i hate her she is a good piano player but she can't be a good back player and now i swiched my teacher which means i will have a new piano player too... i hope he'll be better XD
hi ya...i liked your performance i just think maybe u should try slowing it down and maybe adding some dynamics etc....i think there are some bits in the 2nd movement that still need some work on it but apart from that....great job. look forward to seeing more on you :) oh and the pianist i think was in a world of her own....she didnt seem to be in time with you.
that was really good better than i could do but i did notice that you seemed to take breaths in akward spots (mostly in the beginning) and your sholders seemed to be really high, i understand with nerves and stuff i might, i be doing the same thing but i might try to focus on them a little, but good job other wise
tnx... =] its like we have a resitel every 6 school simester thats like half of school year... like every 4-5 months and i dont have enough time to work on it...
Lern to relax! Keep your shoulders relaxed, your embrochure is not flexible! Work on your tone quality and this piece will sound really nice =)

that piano player is very egocentric.... Regardless, I liked your performance. Do you always keep your shoulders so high?
