The fact is, Gays aren't born gay. Just like I wasn't born straight. Yes, that's right, believe it or not, there was a time in my infancy when I wasn't attracted to either men or women. It's the same for gays, they weren't "born" anything, they became that, and something caused them to become that way. As for your 'friend' being "wrong", I don't know enough about his particular situation to comment one way or the other... but I've seen gay people who claimed to have been "wrong" ending up simply denying the truth, for various reasons (guilt, shame, etc).
Now, I'd like to end by saying that I am not by any means of those individuals which tear down gays. I don't have a problem with gays at all, in fact, I have a friend who is gay; his name is Casey. If someone wants to be gay, that is their life, and I have no problem with the way they chose to live their life; however, I am against gay marriage. I believe in God; I believe marriage is a sacred ordinance ordained by him. Gay couples have the same rights as married couples.

Please dont fall for this false ploy people. God does NOT create homosexuals as they want you to believe. It is just a proclamation of how right they think they are and how false Christianity is. It is an anti-Christian ploy. They want people to believe that Chiristianity has had it wrong for 2000 years; so they want everyone to accept them and make Christianity and basic morality false.

@IamaKinsey06 You are wrong.. Homosexuality is a sin just like envy, murder, etc.. However, it is you and I who make a very conscious decision on whether to commit the act. God wanted you (and still wants you) to ask him to take away these desires (and reprehend that demon and the devil). But instead, gays use the law to commit their sins and the ultimate sin which is to moch and blasphem one of God's most sacred institutions: Marriage..

The fact is, Gays aren't born gay. Just like I wasn't born straight. Yes, that's right, believe it or not, there was a time in my infancy when I wasn't attracted to either men or women. It's the same for gays, they weren't "born" anything, they became that, and something caused them to become that way. If you give gays that argument, you also give pedophiles, beastality supporters, etc. the same argument. "I can't help it, I was born a pedophile, God made me this way." Understand?

Wrong. You fail to mention the fact that a gay relationship takes place between two consenting adults, which makes it completely different than coerced sex with a minor/animal.
You also ignore the fact that, while we may not be born sexually inclined one way or the other, that eventually we are, and not all of us are inclined towards heterosexual sex... unless you're suggesting that heterosexuals find themselves attracted to the same gender, but suppress it?

Take Muhammad for example, he married A'isha when she was only 9 and she grew up the rest of her life praising and speaking highly of him even after his death.. Secondly, I never said gays had a choice in the matter, as I believe many don't; however, there are others which do. For example, I had a friend who said he was "gay" and attracted to men. Later he found out he was "wrong."

Wrong. Engaging in sexual relations with a(n ignorant) prepubescent child is not the same as a consensual relationship between two knowledgeable adults, and it's a bit disconcerting that you would believe otherwise.
As for your 'friend' being "wrong", I don't know enough about his particular situation to comment one way or the other... but I've seen gay people who claimed to have been "wrong" ending up simply denying the truth, for various reasons (guilt, shame, etc).

Now, I'd like to end by saying that I am not by any means of those individuals which tear down gays. I don't have a problem with gays at all, in fact, I have a friend who is gay; his name is Casey. If someone wants to be gay, that is their life, and I have no problem with the way they chose to live their life; however, I am against gay marriage. I believe in God; I believe marriage is a sacred ordinance ordained by him. Gay couples have the same rights as married couples.

You are more than welcome to hold a personal belief if you so choose. The problems arise from the enacting of laws based on your personal belief that restricts the freedoms of others that do not believe as you do.
Oh, and gay couples having the same rights as married couples is a myth. I've seen far too many same-sex couples that have lost property, family, etc. because they did *not* share the same legal rights as a married couple.
Same sex marriage should be legal: period.
