  • @PrincessIMYM Really?? Nice one lol.

  • @ChiefAlegre Yup :D and my grandma helped Richard a lot (she's the one who orders explosives and tells everyone what to do on a normal day of work) She's also done the same for Tony Robinson on a number of occasions ;) My claim to fame! haha

  • @PrincessIMYM Nice, thanks for sharing. :)

  • hopefully muslims won't see this program, it could give them ideas

  • whos paying for all that concrete ?

  • I suppose they could have made the gunpowder themselves, after all the ingredients seem to me to be relatively easy to get ahold of. There again, I have never tried so I would not know.

  • @alanheath ask a muslim, they'd know lol

  • @ccclllsport go fuk urself

  • @waseem2zizz someone can't take a joke

  • @ccclllsport if you must make racially insensitive jokes try too make them at least funny or else you just end up look sounding like an arse

  • ROFL: Naturally, there would be a gunpowder factory in Spain. If you've ever visited rural Spain, you'll know why that's funny.

  • @JCLeSinge

  • good job hamster. the pope still wants to control europe, he is doing it via the eu.

  • "Its bad form to crash into explosives factories"

  • 1600 ~ 11 months of massive hard labor

2000 ~ 11 hours of machine aided labor

I giggled and shed a little tear having realized how badass we have become ^L^

  • 1600 ~ 1 hour of planning, drawing and paperwork

2000 ~ 11 months of planning, drawing and paperwork

  • What are you even talking about or referring to?

  • the simplest plan?

The catholics would take over? Them and what army?

If they'd succeeded, it'd just've caused a civil war. But as earlier stated, a majority of the englands were protestant, they were with the wealth, so I believe, catholics hadn't got a hope.

  • They would have supplanted the King with his daughter, Elizabeth. There may not have been a civil war - there wasn't a civil war when Mary was Queen.

  • @PeowPeowPeowLasers Had the king been killed, the monarchy would have passed to Henry Frederick, his son then aged eleven. As it happened James outlived him and he was suceeded by his second son Charles who went on to have his head chopped off in 1649.

  • the car hammond is driving is a citroen c6. didn't know he owned one

  • LOL "slow down. slow it down. it's bad form to crash into explosion factory" -Sydney

  • this was a brilliant documentary by Hammond but also in general. Like no other thing on telly to show you what happened, also showing you what would have happened if it had succeeded.

  • I like Richard Hamond's style of delivery.

  • Fantastic doco from the Hampster.
