  • SNORE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL......... IT SUCKS ! ! ! ! ! !

  • old skool! i remember doing that back in the days!

  • Thats not a drift tire... that's a NO grip tire!

  • @P0zquick Yea but who says they want it to be easy, wheres the fun in that?? RWD all the way...

  • were you watching huclebery hound?

  • you can buy drift wheels from hpi racing which are perfect

  • The things folks will do to save $10. C'mon just buy some tires!

  • where can we find rims for rc?

  • Novak 3.5R(10500Kv) + Mamba Max Pro + REAL TIRES = actual drifts...

this is a crappy substitute for a handicapped method of drifting...

its like taking a real car, and spinning tires in a skating rink, would you call that drifting?

  • @DaBuzzKilla yes i would call that drift.

  • to make my drift tires all i did was took my tire off my car (rubber skill attached) and went to lowes and got pvc the tire fit it and cut it down to fit , ez as that

  • if you know how to drift an rc car u can drift without that thing

  • did u use foam tape as insert?

  • saol

  • es una reberenda cagada tu puto video no sos capas de hacer algo como la gente ??

  • man I cant find the right size of PVC!!!

  • i have rc car 1:10 RWD ( 2WD ) can drift or not if i put pvc tyre ? post comment i need a help.

  • you will make donuts in every step....not drifting....

  • if you can control it then yes u can drift

  • you cannot drift rc's with RWD. You need AWD.

  • @Mnpunkrulez

    I can =D

  • There is a massive difference between spinning in circles and drifting.

Post a video of you doing a good figure 8. And then I'll accept it.

...It's not possible at 1/10 scale.

  • .... would you like a vid of me drifting my yokomo MR4TC SD CM?

  • @Mnpunkrulez you idiot, do you realise how many videos there are that will prove you wrong. Of course 1:10 scale cars can drift.

  • @Mnpunkrulez sure you can...its just A LOT harder...

  • @Mnpunkrulez YOU F******G IDIOT,I CAN DRIFT

  • it is a good way of recycling a old rim. when the tiers go on my cars I just buy new rims and a new tier, I just throw the old wheels out.

  • Is it because you dont want to spend money on tires, You want to damage your rims or You want to have ugly tires on a rc car which can only drift unless you buy new wheels and put them on every time you need to drive it in touring?

  • ok seriously why do u glue it to the rim isnt there another way ur just wasting a rim..cause u cant use it twice

  • because its hot glue.... not gorilla glue... you can PEEL off hot glue.. haha jebus.

  • Why don't u explain what u are doing instead of the tv in the background

  • he not taping over the pipe peices, he taping over the rime to preasure fit them better then uses the glue to make sure they stay/keep dirt out.

  • this is stupid but do the pcv tires go at the frount or back?

  • BOTH.

  • aaa..... why do you think he has 4 pieces of pvc?? think dude think!!

  • what is he putting inside of the wheel (under the pvc tire, the black stuff) I know it's foam but what kind?

  • you dont need this. just grab a 26mm wheel by hpi/tamiya/ or yokomo and 2 inch pipe. use hotglue or superglue.

  • rcdrifter is does on certain sufaces try it on plastic like a plastic table and on any table it will peel off but depends on the surface if its like foam then it might take some of the foam with it but it depends

  • factory made drift tyres don't drift as long (as in slide length) or produce as wicked angles as pvc tyres do

  • whats pvc im kinda dum in this

  • poly vinyl chloride ie. drain pipe.

  • lol hot glue just peals right off

  • if you glue both sides how will you take it off?

  • What is rc drift tires made of???

  • what size tube?

  • were do u get the stuff from

  • what do i do if i dont have a pair of extra rims and i dont want to destroy my original wheels?

  • wow dude u have a car that uses 2 rims to drive cool i want one lol

  • You only use drift wheels like this on the back two rims, but noobs like you have to do it on all four.

  • Actually, Most RC cars are All wheel Drive so You have to use all four or theres really no point.

  • Who told you my car was AWD?

  • let me set you straight, rc drift MUST be 4wd if you want to do it well, take some examples, every member of groovy, arai, D10 etc have 4wd cars,.

  • lol u must have never drifted b4 and ur giving me lectures.ha (i do drift btw)u have to put these on all 4 tyres noob or you will just spin out without even starting

  • I dont care what you or anyone else do, i drift with the back two tyres and im doing fine. Easier to get out of a drift, and still maintaining grip when needed

  • hear what dude post a vid of it show me that only the rear wheels are powerd and that only the rear has drift tyres then show me some 4-5 second side ways action oh happy new year btw

  • Will do when the snow is gone, i cant access any indoor places right now.

Happy new year to you too!

  • f off you a noob you do you use 4!!

  • yo man sup... i hade the same problem as u. what i did was i go a bigger pvc pipe and i did the same thing but with my tires on 2 ............hope i helped u

  • (guy below) me yes you can

  • can u do this for nitro cars?

  • y would u glue those??

  • are these for nitro

  • what website has pvc/abs drift tires

  • use the front 2 wheels or the back 2?.. pls reply..

  • you're spamming your dumbass question everywhere, please stop. the answer is back two or all four or none, NOT front two.

  • can just use normal pvc pipe??

  • yes

  • the 2 wheels. use the front 2 wheels or the back 2??

  • any 4w car will doo go to the hobbie shope buy 4 rims, go to the biggest hardware store buy the foam insulation tape, and then the pvc plumming tube cut it the width of rims , and thus vid then install on car and drive, make shure to charge batt first and driving under mooving cars is lots of fun too.!

  • what is pvs tires

  • shitty

  • i have some hpi drift tires are they as good as pvc tires?

  • can i just buy drifting tyres? will it work with a normal electric 4wd?

  • but where do u buy that stuff

  • Home Center, plumber, mail order, etc... It is ... anywhere.

  • can u by the stuff at h0bby sh0ps to do drifting. my rc car is a electric tamiya not made for drifting will it work?

    if not what will

    ty

  • The drift is possible by all maker & all cars.

Its only a problem of the grip balance.

  • However, I am difficult if there is not it by 4WD in the case of RC car.

  • WHAT IS THIS STUFF? is this 4 a car or sumthin?

  • wait wait wait so the spinge tape is not needed if the pvc automatically sticks???

  • ummm so y is the spongetape on in english and will this fit straight on my car?

  • where do you buy the rims

  • Let me see if i understood:

First, i get my rims and put them a layer of the sponge tape. Then, i get my cutted pvc pipe and glue the rims with the sponge tape in it. so, then i just attach them on my car and its ready to drift?

Sorry for my bad english, hope you understand it.

  • Yes, Basically. That's all you need to do!

  • i cant find any PVC or ABS pipe..anything else can be used? thanks for the video =)

  • if bottles fit use it or spray can caps

  • I notice that your sliding the hot glue gun down... go upwards and you'll make a cleaner approach

  • I use this sponge to bury the inside diameter of a pipe and a difference of wheel outer diameter.

If you can just put on a pipe, there is not a meaning :-)

  • thaks for video

  • That is sponge tape.

    sold in Home Center

  • how do i lock my rear diff on my TT-01 ?

  • Please inject glue gun in bevel gear diff

  • Can you mature to me those drift send? or what is this for a tube?please write back

  • The tire which slip well to drift that you were stable is necessary.

I easily wind a parcel tape around a tire, and, with a commercial drift tire, please compose by itself with an ABS pipe and a PVC pipe.

  • so how do you cut the pvc/abs?

did you get it cut at the place you bought it??

or did you have to do it yourself

if you did what you use?

  • If you have you cut it in shops, it will be comfortable.

It cuts it by hand, but on that occasion should make hose bands a guide.

  • thats for yokomo?

  • llllllll

  • nice could u pls tell me what ABS IS?

  • abs is anti lock braking system so the back weels dont just skid wen u touch the brake

  • uhm, in this case, ABS is the black plastic piping

  • oh that must be another abs cos thats wat it is for real cars

  • haha, yep

  • could you tell me what is the size in inches? They don't go by mm and I don't remember how to convert.

  • In this case size is not so important because it is the course.

It is outer diameter of your wheel and the inside diameter of a pipe to use that is important.

    By the way, it's a calculation inch = mm x 0.04

  • This DriftTire Specifications

    Wheelsize D52mm W24mm

    Tiresize(PVCpipe) OD60mm ID56mm W24mm

    Sponge L163mm W20mm t3mm

If there is a thing same as wheel outer diameter, the inside diameter of a pipe is comfortable...

Materials are sold in Home Center.

  • hmm, is dat wat u do after ur done? put da pipe around it dats it? or put rubber?

  • Firstly... I wind a black sponge put centrally around a wheel.

(screen right side wheel, its wound up a sponge.)

And I put it in a pipe and glue a gap together.

  • whats that black stuff up put on the wheels

  • I wind an urethane sponge around circumference of a wheel.

  • cool, i guess this makes the drifts more quiter...as you can see in my vids my direct abs pipe to wheel isn't quite :)

  • Thank you. Since the tire was becoming thin very much, it made to kill time. (^^)

Although it is a friend's HP, it is activity record of a self RC party.
