well it depends on what youre growing in it. I grow mostly Masdevallias and Draculas. My day temps usuallu run in the hig 60s to low 70s. Humidity around 84 to 90. You can control temps and humidity by opening or closing the vents in the top of the orchidarium. also try opening the front door so that there is about a half inch gap. Make sure your fan is running at all times. This will help with air circulation and limmiting stagnant areas .
im growing dendrorium and phalepnosis,my temp is same as yours but i dont have any fan in my orchidarium, i just got that from old lady and its my 1st time to have it,coz we dont have like that in the philippines but i got loads of orchids back home,im here in england now and its really difficult to have orchids coz of crazy weather, thanks you so much for your time answering my questions is such a help!!! thns again...
with those orchids you need to bump up the temps. 65 at night and up to 80 in the day. Your current temps are to cold. also get a fan in there! Youre probably rotting them with high humidity and no air circulation.
I don't think of that as an orchidarium. I consider that as an orchid green house.
You should plant orchids on wood (the species that can tolerate it) and make a nice display.
