  • So sorry to hear the General has passed on - I was 11 in 72 and recall hearing this on Radio one and absolutely loving it. To hear it again brings tears to the eyes. Absolutely love it and a great song for my funeral. Songs in those days were about love and full of hope for the world, which is often in contrast to the charts of today.

    So glad I grew up when I did with such beautiful music. Remember -Radio Caroline continues 2011

  • I listen to everything from folk to metal, but chairmen of the board were a great band. Get their two disc greatest hits album, i ordered it cuz i liked the song give me a little more time, but their are alot of great songs on that album that i didnt know about before A little more time Dangling on a string Ill come crawling patches bless you a building of love all we need is understanding elmo james im on my way to a better place let me down easy and more
