Loved this game! There was a second installment of the game that came and went due to poor sales. Good vid, I was waiting for you to chain Akira's spinning kick so it hit three times. It is a great way to end her combos.

one thing never made any sense to me. How the hell were you ever able to see a reflection of Akira's helmet through her helmet? You can't see a reflection of yourself through yourself. Only through a mirror!

The graphics look too clean for this to be the PSX version. I just got done playing this game, and the graphics, despite the lesser quality of the video, look less jaggy. Were you by chance playing this on a PS2 with the text smoothing on?

Also, all throughout my years playing this game, I have never heard that sound of the points racking up at the end of a round.

Simple. Backwards compatibility. PS2s offer these nifty options for PSX games: texture smoothing and faster disc speed (supposed to shorten loadtimes).
