  • Is there like a tutorial for traditional animation use in software cause I don't really get the tutorial from the website and yes, I'm still kinda noob on this software. I'm really interested speeding up my animation flow of traditional cause basically I use a drawing software and render it frame by frame with Vegas 8 so I wanted to do this in a swift.

  • @RJAce1014 Which Toon Boom software do you have?

  • @ToonBoomAnimation Animate Pro the $899 one

  • @RJAce1014 Excellent. Chapter 4 of the user guide combined with chapters 1-5 of the video tutorials will help you get started.

  • @ToonBoomAnimation I will check it out and I will inform you if I have a questions regarding the tutorial. Also, what is PLE? My friend has a PLE version and he said something only for students. Is it like more features or I need to pay for an upgrade?

  • I got Toon Boom animate pro 2 for Christmas! :D

  • @JAZproductions41 Same Version!! High Five!!

  • wow. just wow, this is definetely amazing but...as usual, cant afford it

  • So is this a higher version of toon boom, if yes does it work the same.

  • Sooo much help!

  • Does someone knows how to export a movie from animatePRO? Every time i try to export my final resault is black screen! only if i have for example white hair i can see animated white hair on black background, damit! ty for ur answer

  • @zhl38ina You may want to refer to the Animate forums, where you can get help on this kind of issue. This question has been asked there several times before. When working in Animate Pro, you should add a Colour Card if you'd like to have a black background. Otherwise, transparency is indicated by black in the movie export.

  • @lillybirdsong ty dude...will see at the forum 4 more details

  • I heard someone said, Animate pro will be replaced with Harmony , Is that true ?

Is it going to be like Opus?

  • @jamalanimation Animate Pro and Harmony serve different needs. However, if you are a freelancer for large studios, we recommend going for Harmony stand-alone to access the most advanced features.

  • this is amazing software, i wish i had it :c but i can't afford it... :'c it seems so very useful,

  • @MochaCat123 Toon Boom offers very attractive pricing these days and flexible payment plans...You should contact Philip at toonboom dot com.

  • make a dvd course to learn how to use this

  • @moviemaster6 Thanks for your feedback!

  • make the program easier to understand.

  • @MindOfCreativity Have you watched the free video tutorials?

  • @ToonBoomAnimation

Where can you watch the turotials?

  • @jeffp2007 On Toon Boom's web site, in the Animate Pro How to section.

  • @ToonBoomAnimation You need to go on Toon Boom web site then the Animate Pro page. There is a banner that highlights the latest title on Morphing. Check it out!

  • why should i buy this, since i already have another animator software that is less in price? I have ASP7 (Anime Studio Pro 7) I not narking on the software, i am just asking. if i can do all this animation like in this demo, can anyone tell me what the difference is other than the price? I would buy it.

  • @Iullian64 this may be expensive, but is ery used,in tv shows such as family guy and american dad and also spongebob square pants

  • I know its probably worth it but there's no way I'm going to ever be able to afford it.

  • guys this is worth the price, I'm so saving for toon boom softwares

  • yeah this is pretty expensive. I might just invest my time in doing old fashion cel animation until I can get a job to afford this xD

  • @xAxiom or you can contact Toon Boom and get more info on the flexible payment plan :)

  • @ToonBoomAnimation well I'm only like 15, and I was considering getting this in a few years, but theres no way I could possibly afford that any time soon.

  • @xAxiom well we have academic pricing Animate is at $299.99. You can always use the Personal Learning Edition that is totally free.

  • @ToonBoomAnimation academic pricing for toon boom pro or a lesser version? Because I already flash and Ive done a lot of animation on that, but now that I'm putting in more hours of animation I'm looking into something a little more powerful than basic programs.

  • @xAxiom please send an email to academic at toonboom dot com to get all the info

  • LOL! WINDOWS XP!!! AHAHHAAH SOOOO STUPID!

  • at 1:19 "apply paint to all"

*me watching*..how..how!!? HOW!!!?? ARGHH WOW!!!! SERIOUSLY! HOW!! THATS MAGIC! lol

What are the payment plans? I noticed the site is in us dollars with no pound signs anywhere...I Don't know what I'm getting at but I hope you do lol

  • @rookie66 Please contact Toon Boom to discuss the payment plan.

  • Can u do the same camera movements in animate?

  • @ManAtTheDesk Animate has a multiplane camera while Animate Pro has multiplane and the ability to control the camera on 3 axes.

  • yeah toonboom, you are definatley considerate of our budgets. let me just go get the $2000 laying around my house and buy this software...

  • @fifiandgigi we offer payment plans if this helps. As Adam Phillips said, when you try Animate Pro, you never go back :)

  • @fifiandgigi *COUGH* - pirate bay - *cough*

  • @kimani...read the manual, it helps and also look at the tutorials on the site, on the 15 of this month, Adam Philips put a little in it, plus you can buy the 2 legged walk cycle for toon boom studio and kind of figure it out on toon boom animate, it cost me 50n bucks 2 learn toon boom studio but now I have upgraded to animate and that investment was well worth it....plus toon boom did not pay me 2 say that

  • Hey do you guys actually have tutorials on animation itself? when i first tried ple they used to but now on the site all I see is tutorials on preparing the character is there a zip file somewhere that I can download the video tutorials of animate on how to actually animate?

  • @kimani The How to video tutorials cover every step required in animation production. Have you seen them?

  • @ToonBoomAnimation if you mean the ones on the site all i see is how to prepare the character it doesnt tell you anything about how to cut the character and animate it like before

  • @kimani This is part of the upcoming packs. In the meantime, check out the community video tutorials as several of them address cut-out animation.

  • I love toon boom, it is so much easier to use than flash

although animate is a little more difficult with all the nice tools and stuff

  • isnt this thing like 200$?

  • @HeAtHeR19200 Try $2000. Two thousand dollars. I could by groceries for ten years with that kind of cash. XD

  • @thecreativefool Why not look at it as an investment in a power tool that will enable you to make a nice living, get a fast return on your investment and deliver high quality animation efficiently? Plus we offer flexible payment plans :)

  • @HeAtHeR19200 Ugh xD $2000

  • Great video!

  • umm wat did the show family guy use to make animation in their show????

  • @sddfs777 They used Harmony.

  • Must say this a a very impressive demo.

  • for kids!? :D well thanks i am going to try it out ))))

  • which is the best?Toon Boom Studio Toon Boom Animate Toon Boom Animate Pro Toon Boom Storyboard Toon Boom Pencil Check Pro

  • @toxicsale9 Each app serves a specific purpose: Pencil Check is for line testing, Storyboard for storyboarding, Studio for learning animation and Animate Pro for creating professional animation. What kind of projects do you do?

  • @ToonBoomAnimation well i want to start creating some animations *i am a novice i never done any* so what is the best to start? Only some simple animations like in the begining of your video. Thanks in forward...

    Kind regards Ts9

  • wich is the diference with toon boom studio? wich is better?

  • @karadanianoI Animate Pro is by far more powerful.

  • @ToonBoomAnimation where is it?

  • hey i have a question is the show family guy, the simpsons use animate pro??? plzz reply

  • ok thanks :)

  • so they use storyboard Pro to also make the animation right???

  • @sddfs777 Storyboard Pro is just for storyboards. Harmony is for the animation.

  • Does TBA have 3d objects and space like TBAP?

  • I would love to have Animate Pro but I'll just be content if I could get Animate.

  • still using Digital Pro as a feel the brush works

and feels more natural to me,every thing else in animate pro looks amazing, just wish it had the

    brush from Digi Pro !

  • this is what i call

    the ultimate tool for animation

  • thank you, this program makes animation very easy because of the puppet function and also the camera

  • Make this affordable, guys.

  • WOW AWESOME!!!

Love the 3D and awesome camera movements!

Looks realy awesome and cool but a little to complex for me

I'll stick with studio for now ;)

(btw love Adam Phillips work - too bad he blocked me on youtube D=

  • I have Animate. But not PRO. But it's really not that complex. It is, but you don't need all these super duper codes and clicks. You can just animate easily. But if you want to get really detailed, you can use all the advanced techniques.

  • Oh.. True... I guess it just seems a little different than what I'm used to.

I might give it a try some time.
