  • I love this segment so much. So beautifully haunting.

  • I wore this album out - went to every concert I could to see them. I have never seen or heard such perfect quality in a vocalist anywhere. This is the most incredible band live if you ever get a chance to see them. I can't wait to see them next week!! It's going to be another one of my best days ever!

  • very nice

  • @mike28890 Thank you

  • What a superb group......what are they doing now?

  • Nice Combo - great rack and voice to match. Did anyone see her in Buffalo NY in 1976?

I went but could barely see her, and the concert, well, can't rmember much because I went to sleep. Still great sleeping music especially at 54 yrs old. Love U Annie.

  • Everything is masterly about this song: lyrics, composition, arrangement, instrumental performance, Annie's voice and vocals.

And not necessary to say, but anyway: she is REALLY pretty!

    Thanks for this sweet video.

  • @TedBoyRomarino You're welcome friend. Thanks a lot for commenting ..It's really great you've enjoyed it..

  • Just RENAISSANCE!

  • Após todos esses anos essa música...essa melodia continua a fazer bem aos meus ouvidos e à minha alma. A boa música ainda pode ser ouvida e apreciada, sem pressa.

  • This was the missing piece I was looking for. It brings back so many memories of my younger years. Annie can bring me to tears with her great voice. But also the guys are of such an extreme quality.

The video was very well made.

  • After all of these years...the music still stands up. The depth of the sound...the range of the singer...the sheer quality of the work...outstanding

  • Thanks a lot for your comments .

  • MOMENTO HISTÓRICO

  • Beautiful slide show! This band is so very special. Annie Haslam sings like an angel, and their material is just out of this world! My favorite song right now is "The Sea" and I can't even remember which album it's from. My records are in storage, because I'm moving! I played the album "A Time For All Seasons" nonstop for a couple of years!

  • Thanks a lot for commenting, mickindanny. I dont know if you're talking about "Sounds of the Sea", if it is so, the song belongs to the album Prologue.

    Greetings,

    Eduardo.

  • ocnarfeara:

Thanks for the excellent slide show, and the great choice in music. DId you happen to see Annie and Michael Dunford with Renaissance on the present 40th Anniversary tour? I missed the show in NYC as it was on the same night as a baseball playoff game, but I wish someone who saw any of these shows would post some video of it or give a little review - Again thx for the beautiful production!

  • Hi..!!! Thank you very much for your kind comments. Unfortunatly I couldnt go, I received an e-mail from Annie's site with an invitation to this celebrating concert, but I live in Rio....:) I only saw Renaissance in late70's in London, I even used some pics from that concert in this slideshow, and then in 98 when Annie did some concerts in Rio as Annie Haslam's Renaissance......if you find any video about the celebration please send me a note ..Thanks a lot for commenting..

  • I saw the NY show and it was a dream come true to see them again. I had seem them since 1977 and I didn't know what to expect but the band was magnificent and Annie's voice was still great though she has lost a bit of her upper range. Youtube user SCIslanderfan has clips of the show on his channel.

  • The NYC show, incidentally, was very well done. The acoustics at Society for Ethical Culture were quite good, and the set list was excellent, though a little light on Scheherazade. One of the most memorably concerts I've seen/heard.

  • Great. Doesnt look at all 'dated' like many on here

  • Thanks a lot for your awesome comment.

  • thanks for the slide show - it's a good background to this wonderful song
