You can also make sweet tea by using two 4-cup measuring cups, throwing 5 tea bags in each measuring cup, fill em' up with water, and throw both measuring cups in the microwave for about 5-7 minutes, according to how long your microwave takes to get stuff hot. Pull em' out, pour em' into your pitcher with some sugar as shown in your video. Ya know, just in case your coffee pot breaks down, like they tend to do...lol.

I make sweet tea in a coffee maker as well. I use 5 tea bags with no coffee filter. Just place the tea bags in the coffee filter holder. Then fill the coffee pot to the 10 cup mark. Fill a gallon size container with ice. After the tea is brewed, add 1 1/2 cups of sugar directly into the hot tea pot and stir till dissolved. Then pour the sweetened tea over the pitcher of ice. Instant ice tea that is perfect. (The pitcher filled with ice will melt and fills the gallon container to the top.)

That may be the best tea to you, my friend, but I find this warm, English recipe for black tea more suited to me:

1. Get out a kettle, a teapot, some teacups and saucers, sugar, milk and of course some teabags or loose tea leaves. If you use loose leaves (For a better flavour) you will also need a tea strainer.

2. Put a small amount of water in your kettle and boil it.

3. Pour this small amount of water in the teapot and swirl it around until the pot is hot. Empty the pot.

4. Refill the ket

If you like iced tea you can just add ice cubes instead of adding water after adding , and mixing the sugar . That way its cold right away .
