@Tribesbez No. mine looks thin as well. Maybe I'm just being too impatient to work up a good lather, or using too little shampoo, or too much water. Practice makes perfect!
@lovemesomeorli A seam is like the place where to pieces of something meet, typically like the part of something sewn where you can see the thread connecting the two pieces. I this case she means that the comb is made of one whole piece of plastic, not pieces that were fused together. That way there are no places for your hair to get caught and snagged on.
Thank you so much for this video! As many natural hair 'diva's' that I've watched on YouTube you method works the best hands down! And I like the fact that you play music. It soothing and we as viewers don't have to listen to 'diva-ishness' coming thru on them. We just want a method and you provide that perfectly! I'd rather watch your videos than any other hair 'guru' on youtube! Thanks again!
I second detangling *before* shampooing. I love love love VO5, but I haven't tried it for detangling. Tomorrow is 'wash day' for me, so I'll give it a try!

Thank you so much for sharing this technique. I just tried it and I am so amazed at how easy the detangling portion of "wash day" can be. The amount of hair that
come out was a small fraction of what it was previously. This one little tip from you is helping me tremendously as I take care of my hair and work toward more length and hair retention. This is wonderful!! Thank you. Thank you. (I have natural hair)
howd u wet hair 1 section at time for shampoo? did u put ur hair under the sink? how would u suggest sum1 do this in the shower witout their feet hurting or wasting water? lol
i just tried this technique today. my results were awesome! it took about 45min off of my routine (i used to detangle under running water) and i lost TWO-THIRDS less hair!!!! i did wash in the shower with twists in, a bit different from your process, but it worked out well. thanks for sharing.
thanks for sharing this tutorial. I do something similar with my hair but I shampoo first and then detangle. however I am noticing that as my hair gets longer it's a little let efficient to do it that way and i don't want my hair to get tangled in the shampoo process. this is a good alternative.
i have to say that i have been using this technique to spray with the condish/water mixture, and then shampoo my hair and it is very beneficial...no more tangles..for real!
thanks for the advice I'm also a fellow natural and blogger and you are truely great inspiration to me and I think alot of naturals keep up the good work
Tnx Nik! I have been doing the OCM for 1 week. My skin is becoming softer! Also, I decided to wear twist outs as my go to style. Your tips - and blog - help me a lot! Again, My hair thanks you for the tips :)
Do you detangle with water and condioner before a henna treatment? Thanks in advance....and i just love your videos. I recently saw you and your best friend in the essence magainze issue. Go girl keep doing your thaaang...lol
This is my shampoo method only I use oil instead of diluted conditioner for detangling. It counteracts the drying effects of shampoo. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! I use the same conditioner method that you performed with shampoo, as well, (placing an adequate amount of shampoo and water in an empty VO5 bottle for easier distribution) and applying the mixture that way.
@cortrell99 the Giovanni line can be found in the USA at Whole Foods, Walmart and CVS. I've also seen in some grocery stores as well. HTH, Peace and blessings

Thanks!

@bolinga27 you can use acv & water (preferably distilled) as a final rinse after you wash and condition. ^_^
