Odonota is by far my favorite of all the insect orders. We spend billions of dollars trying to build aircraft that cant do half of what these amazing creatures can. Great video

Dragonflies are one of my favourite insects. One of Earth's oldest lines of predators. They have been bigger than eagles and as small of flies, but always predaors of the first order yet graceful in flight. The fastest flight achieved by an animal is that of a dragonfly at over 200 mph. There is one here in America called a Flame Skimmer. It flies so fast that its red body looks like a flame skimming over the surface of the water.
