pana saludos, tengo un R1150GS, y la verdad donde vivo soy el unico con ella, jeje pero tengo varias dudas con esta moto si me pueden ayudar este en mi email arubuyer@hotmail.com
You can start from Mexico and drive up to Alaska loaded for bear with tents, clothes, sleeping bags and explore till your heats content, do some donuts on some deserted road... Drive all the way back and do it all over again. Try doing that on your DR 400. This bike has one more awards for what it does than any other bike. Course I would rather use the DR if I was just driving a few miles to a dirt area or trails and and do some off road exploring for the afternoon.
No i would fill it up, just like anything else, just like my car, or your truck. Yes your right you have to fill it up normaly as in any vehicle, instead of what every other fill up. its still not worth the price, i want quality to match that price, it is no where near in quality for that price. In fact the jap bikes are made better for a 1/4 of the price. Thats why Japan has taken over.
I've had a go at this and it's fine on the hard packed sand. But I hit some loose stuff and nearly shit myself. I was well out of control, the feeling was horrible, and it was blind luck that i stayed upright.
I'm also a DC guy, and I am in love with the Bimmer.. The cruisers are cool, but only get you so far. I'd love one as a 2nd bike, Bimmer is the way to go for me
i never really thought i would see a bike just ripping around on a beach well espesially a bike with sliks but i geuss you drive it on the road too i was seriosly looking into a sport bike but i just gt an enduro instead, by the was awsome bike it looks awsome.
Hey,, thanks.. that was the first day with the bike.. now after a year I learn to handle it much better.. The bike is awsome for any use.. road , off-road.. and if you are more into sportbike.. well with few changes in suspension it will go great.. ( not more than 210kms.). but it is ok. for a fullsize enduro...
Yes already did,, that was the first day after I got it from the dealer.. ,, Now I just got back from Peru,, great trip and excellent bike.. Thanks for the tip
Hi,, she probably would beat me, but I guess she did not pay 30.000 usd.. for the bike,, jejeejjeje,, I have improved much since your comment,, I really appreciate..

LOL,
No man, he's "haircooled"!

Waht a waste of money, my DRZ can do that.
flyboybill 2 years ago
But if the beach were a hundred miles from you, you would probably be towing the DRZ in a pickup! Theyre called adventure bikes for a reason.

Hey, man.. I must agree with you,, since we tried loose sand,, and it is imposible to control de bike without cross tires..
Also I think the bike is to heavy on the front wheel and NO WAY JOSE, real off road with some mud and loose sand is impossible to use this baby..
Thanks.

I want this bike! I'm torn between this and a cruiser like the Honda VTX. There aren't many places around Washington, DC to ride off road.

Nice for a bike bike, but the front suspension luck a bit soft, have you change the setting?
