I really liked the Video, excellent job, I did expect something will be aired on this consulting firm.

You should have also concentrated on a case where the OPT guy with fake experience and proxy call succeeded. But, may be, it ll miss the point of what you exactly wanted to convey.

I did like the title.

@mareedum, thanks for your feedback. Yes, I wanted to tell the story in Sandy's version and I also wanted to show the contrast betn. Kiran and Sandy's thought process. One thing I missed out was to show more on Kiran's journey. He actually drops his plans to finish his Master's degree in his final semester and joins the consultancy. His father does not like his approach and there lies the conflict between him and his father etc. bad writing I would say :(

@mareedum, looks like I can develop all the characters journeys and make it feature film. also, I got few comments from indian audience that I should have spent little more time on elaborating / explaining certain things like: proxy interviews, h1b stamping issues at consulate, OPT pressure etc. I missed out few points I think.

I heard similar experiance from a freind of mine.. Thnaks for showing the truth to the world. It will surely help many people to realise the real problems in the USA. Many indians waste their talents,time and money with the consultancies.. you showed 5 years exp in 45 min.. Good ..

Indian kids have talent, they are really flexible with work hours, work hard to learn new things and to finish the projects. lots of good things to boast about indian students which are liked by american employers/clients. in fact some of the clients/employers know that these kids have some issues with status and they help these students

@gowrachandu1125, Some of the consultancies exploit these students to earn quick and easy money. Some % of students also look for easy way out and join these consultancies to earn quick bucks.

Many students have these issues with their job. lot of people join these consultancies having no other option in their hand. otherwise they have to return with huge loans. I have shown some of unlucky guys who are trapped in a situation. we should not generalize this.

I don't believe those guys will change. but students mindsets are flexible and can be changed to some extent i think.

Best telugu short I ever saw. mee kastam prathi frame lo telustundhi. having made a few short movies I can imagine meeru entha kastapaddaro. story, dialogues, bgm, editing anni chaala baagunnayi. acting okkate koncham avg. your movie relates to a lot of ppl like me who live a similar life. bgm ela chesaro koncham cheppandi pls. finally, andarilo guy who played shravan iragateesadu. chaala free gaa act chesadu.. congrats to the whole group. hoping to see more from you guys.

well, the coin has the other side. y not consider the huge no. of people who settled very well in their life with in a little time, clearing the loans back in india, helping their family get out of the poor life.Could have been scintillating with some success stories.

Pros: The idea which mite be a simple trial to explain the life inbetween master's and job life

Cons: No voice sync

Narration is vague.

Overall: nice work vamshi. U came up with a great thought.

@minuteblower, this side of coin has few other stories too... take 'trivalley' or 'Univ. of Northern Virginia' students cases. they were doing exact same thing as you said but they were not lucky enough to chase their dream to earn easy money cheating the system. they ended up in websites and news papers as if they did a huge crime or something.

Its a true film made from the heart! I thought i was the only one felt guilty because all i see is happy people with the quick money! I hated the life i spent in the consultancy which made me feel guilty even now..And i love my decision to come back to india and to start a fresh career which was hard though!

I have seen the other group who admit that they are doing this coz of their situations (like status issues) and they feel guilty about it. I tried to understand their situations but at my bottom of heart i feel like we are living a fake life ...

It has all types of tech. glitches like camera work is very bad .... lots of shots were in focus though (not like you said ;)), dubbing and editing glitches etc.
