This Is Not The Original, That Was By Eye To Eye Late 79 Early 1980 I've Uploaded It Seeing Nobody Has Done It Yet ,Quiet Surprised As I Thought It Was A Great Tune & Still Do .....Julian Marshall Who Wrote It Was Formerly In A Duo With Kit Hain & Had A Chart Hit "Dancing In The City" Marshall & Hain..
@h4rry50337 Strangely enough I've never heard the original version by Eye to Eye on the Dutch radio, so I only knew the version by Virginia David. Thanks for uploading it.
I always wondered about the jist of this song in the context of myself. I actually was helped as a result. Let's face it if you are worried about your own prospects in particular then it's good to know there are others with similar concerns. I love this song because all of us (6 billion and rising fast) will vet soon find out what is normal, and that there is no such thing as non-normal (abnormal). At that point I imagine many of them will start to consider the possibility of human extinction.
Woke up this morning with this song in my head. Quite strange if you come to think last time I heard it was over 25 years ago on a pirate radio station in Amsterdam.
I didn't remember who's the singer. Thanks for posting this great song!!
@Hansepans68 - hiya ,the singer is virginia david who also was in 70's band - Sailor - glass of champagne etc - great record but released when it was all about male singers and female singers didn't get a great deal of coverage against the boy george, wham's, duran's and spandau' guys that were all over the charts at that time, pity because damn good song
Crazy 80's tune that used to play the gay clubs of London at the time.Loved dancing to this one..Still sounds fresh today.

@MrColMC
Heavy or what dude!
Was this not just a good old fashioned dancing round the handbag tune for the ladies rather than an epithet to the listeners state of being?
