My husband is in his 19th year in prison in New York for killing a man who attacked him who was high on cocaine. He was followed outside a bar and hit over the head with a beer bottle. My husband defended himself from this attack. Because they guy was so high on cocaine he did not survive. This happens all the time and no one cares.
Fuck the justicial system. This kind of legal situation pisses me off. If I had killed someone like that with a bat after having an intrudor in my home I would have disposed of the corpse in the proper fashion and told my wife not to call 911.

I can't say that about my country since it's 97% Polish and more than 99% White. Black or White - thug is a thug, good man is a good man and every one of them should be treated accordingly.
In my country (Poland) there was a similar but much more silly case - a man stabbed a trespasser in the buttock. The "victim" managed to escape but died few paces away from loss of blood. What was the outcome? The peaceful, law-abiding citizen was found guilty of murder and neglecting his responsibility (!) to help the wounded one. Law enforcement is extremely unjust in such cases - I reckon every trespasser should be considered potentially dead right after entering someone else's property.
