  • If Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan was still alive today and he and Thomas Lang did a drum off at a drum festival thingy. I think Neil Peart wanted to beat them both he would need either two seperate 360 degree drum kits one on top of the other with stairway running between them. Or he would need to have Mike Portnoy, beause in my view, he could not beat beat the two of them together. That's my opinion anyway :P

  • he is to good for electrical fake drums - dahm electrical always in some way sound fake! even those who costs a fortune

  • @cyberspace123 You wouldn't know the difference if someone played on an electric kit on any album you listen to, and you're lying if you say you do.

  • i like everything...except for the bass drum and the timbale sound...they sound too good

  • i like wish i can play like that

  • that`s what i call a drummer! amazing

  • i can see a double bass pedal's flying about but where's the bass drum?

  • 0:59 guy is amazed by his feet

  • This guy has true independence in his limbs...I'm jealous haha

  • bravo bravo, lots of practising, so many notes in so little time...maybe he is one of those who need someone to tell them what to play.

  • does he ever start a nice solid drum beat? he's just beating drums..

  • everyone in the audience makes me mad. the look on their faces is just like "why is this guy here?" and "i can do better than that!!!" but thomas lang is amazing!

  • @cheinberger1 amazing yes but also quite boring...after some bars I started to feel uncomfortable and waited for music........still waiting

  • @bretzelesser Do not take this in the wrong way, but i true musician (drummer) can really pick out all of the emotion and meaning in a drum solo. Yes, to some people it may sound like just a bunch of drums being hit really fast, but to some people, it may sound like a whole symphony of beauty and meaning. that's just me.

  • @cheinberger1 Maybe I only don´t understand it, my fault. Cheers.

  • @bretzelesser no offense intended:)

  • Can anyone tell me if you can use triggers on these drums? If so how do they work?

  • @paulwall1981 ?....They are triggers technically. There would be no point the signal could just be split or linked to a different brain.

  • i dont know why but the electric kit takes away some of his awesomeness

  • every video i see of him he looks different

  • I play Drums :D

  • ..his signature sticks feel like marching sticks.

  • lol wall of marshalls

  • i can see where a kit like this can open up great possibilities for someone of incredible foot prowess... or a kid living with his parents

  • Dies anyone else notice how he's playing more and more matched grip lately? I would really love to see someone as technical as Lang to join the matched grip crew.

  • Thomas Lang is so good but I wish he had used better samples for the drums. These ones sound so plastic. He is a technical master though anyway.

  • I dream of the drums

  • You know depending on how its packed up and maybe how many pieces it had, in my experience it takes longer to setup an electric kit more than an acoustic because your used to setting up and acoustic more where as with an electric theres cables, the hardware is a little different and stuff although I guess you dont need much of a soundcheck with an electric.

  • thats so true!

  • imagine trying to tour with his acoustic kit though......... would take several hours just to set up

  • sounds pretty cool for a digital kit :) would be nice to see him rip it up on a (i dont wanna say "real"kit) but ya get what im saying :) laters!x

  • the term your looking for is an acoustic set

  • Yay! thats what i was looking for :)

  • acoustic kit

  • On his DVD he plays on an acoustic set for a large portion.

  • i just checked him out...hes pretty freekin awesome, although digital kits have come along way and sound pretty amazing theres just something about an acoustic kit that appeals to me more :)

  • He absolutely rips up an acoustic kit, he used to play an all clear acrylic Sonor kit as well, he might still play it, I forgot which one he used on his DVD.
