His shortcomings become evident in the staccatissmo part. Brave guy. I wouldn't have done it better, and I think there are less than ten pianists worldwide that can make this piece justice. This must be one of the most difficult pieces in the piano repertoire.

If you could just speed up the first exposition of the theme (the one with cromatics thirds), that is in my humble opinion the most difficult passage of the whole piece, the global result result could be much more "powerfull". Still, very well played

Felix me pareces, con todo respeto te lo digo, prolijo, cauto, controlado.

Me parece tambien que, puede ser debido a tu juventud- que te falta expresion y mas entrega.

Quien sabe sea mucho pedir, creo q con los años iras madurando como pianista, pero creo que en general, y digo, en general, el estudio esta medio chato.

Entiendase por chato, un poco falto de expresividad. Es cierto que se parece a l Gran Maestro Arrau, por momentos, pero humildemente te recomiendo trabajar mas la expresion

@2002FREDERICK Obviamente Felix no es Arrau, Bolet, Richter ni una de las nuevas juventudes pianísticas como Yuja Wang o Alice Sara Ott que deslumbran con cada versión. Cada versión es diferente, no mejor o peor.

Felix consejo escucha todo lo que te digan pero siempre desde una tercera persona, desde fuera. ;)

Por cierto buen trabajo.

PD a Frederick: ¿eres capaz de tocarla la este estudio de ejecución trascendente?

Very well played. It is a very challenging work and you are exceptionally gifted. The main melody after the introduction with the thirds is very well spaced with no gaps. To get this kind of artistry is not easy. Those interlocking octaves, before the middle secion came off quite well.

In the slow middle section the melody sings. Great accuracy for a piece like this with a lot of leaps.

Felicitaciones Félix, hiciste una gran presentación de una de las piezas más difíciles de tocar. Me gusta tu tempo, aunque quizás está un poquitín lento, pero en líneas generales estuvo muy bien. Quizás me equivoque, pero percibí cierta influencia de estilo arrauniano, lo cual sería extraordinario para un músico joven como tú, que empieza su carrera. La Mazeppa de Arrau es extraordinaria, mi favorita por su expresividad y emotividad.

Get Czerny 0pus 740. Some of them have been used by major pianists as encores (Lhevinne, for example). The comprehensive technical exposure will be highly beneficial at your level of playing.
