Many fans will remember the announcer making the statement that the Pro Class Harley's, running in the top 3 spots, were averaging 103-104 in the first turn! Then, Mr. Roberts, (retired for several years), comes out there for a non-competitive, "DEMO & crowd pleaser event", and easily submitted 100 MPH speeds!!! AMAZING!!!
This brings back memories for me. I actually raced on the same track on the same night as King Kenny back in 1977. Looks like he is just as awsome now as he was back then. Go Kenny!!!
Don't know if you were there that night, but - KR put about 6000 fans on their feet when he fired up his his Harley killer TZ! Afterwards, Valenito Rossi showed up to Meet & Greet KR, and that put another 6k fans on their feet! It really was quite a nite!
No, I was at sea when all that took place. Wish I was there. Glad you got it on video and made it possible for us to see. Thank you! I can only imagine hearing it in real life and the roar of the crowd. Must have been spectacular!! Thanks again brings back so many memories. We used to watch him race at Daytone for bike week also. Wow, those were the days lol
So.
