  • same gun the cops use

  • I have the "extreme" model which has the same kind of wood I think.

  • If you ever change your mind and want to sell. I will buy it.

  • sigs r the best

  • Beautiful pistol :)

  • @Arielgauna Thanks, it feels really good in hand also. Very accurate too.

  • I put HOGUE grip on mine.Very comfortable.I know its cheeap but to me its all about being practical. In addition bought two 20 rds magazines and two 30 rds.Dont know if its legal where you live

  • @venialsin11 I think its all about shooter comfort and if the shooter is more accurate being more comfortable then all the better. Hogue grips feel really nice and I have them on several of my 1911s. I live in FLA so just about anything is legal here involving guns. Just need tax stamps for full auto, sbr and supressors.

  • Beautiful pistol. Damn I love the look of that gun!!

  • @vincehollaway Yes, its a timeless design and Sig really did an excellent job on the looks of the gun, but most importantly they made one of the most reliable guns on the market back then and still today. You have great taste in firearms!

  • Thats a very beautiful pistol , cost here around the 900 bucks.

  • @BuschTukkerMan Its a really good looking pistol. They are difficult to find around here.

  • in the Philippines, that gun cost more than $2,000

  • That is awesome man good find!

  • @Volkov556 I really like the timeless design of the 226. Its one of the nicest pistols I've ever owned and functions flawlessly.

  • What's the cost of a P226 in the U.S.?

  • I have relative small hands. Should I have to consider getting any of the Compact models?

  • @drfrequency No. Go to the store and grip the pistols. Sig 226 feels as good as any pistol I've ever held.

  • I have a doubt about the P226. Besides of the Decocker, does it haves safe?

  • Which are the differences between the P226 and the P229, there are a bunch of models out there and sometimes it gets a little bit confused when trying to pick one.

I'm trying to compare the Sig Sauer P226 and the CZ 75, but again! There are a lot of CZ 75!

What do you think about those two guns?. On one hand a P226, while in the other a CZ75.

Anyone have any thoughts to share?

and Thanks for sharing this video!

  • @drfrequency The CZ75 doesn't hold a candle to the Sig.

  • Great gun! Want one but California law prevents me from buying one. :-(

  • are you a drug dealer in miami?

  • what part of florida are you in?

  • @fckurvtc just west of tampa in clearwater

  • Whats better p229 or p226? Cost of each?

  • My Brother in law has the Service Pistol... how I envy his NYPD ass... Soon, I'll be a cop and protect my city...

  • That's the older Blackwater model. The newer one has 20 round mags and a larger more pronounced beaver tail.

  • @flydutch1correct, which makes it very difficult to find one like this in an unfired condition.

  • Damn thats a sweet looking gun. I swear i'd buy one if I could afford it. One of my local shops has had the same 226 on display for over a year. At over $800 it hasn't budged. Wonder if I could talk them down on price

  • @KrazyCash The one thing with Sigs is that they hold their prices very well. Those who know, want them. The 226 I believe is one of the best pistols ever made.

  • @epictrolled Sig Sauer is from Switzerland and Germany, my friend!

"J. P. Sauer & Sohn" is the German company which builds the SIG Sauer 226 and the Swiss SIG (Schweizerische Industriegesellschaft) ist the company, who designed and sold it.

  • i would like any sig to come with 5 mags. if i had a a sig 716 Precision marksman and a sig 552, i would never need another gun

  • *Waffen-SS edition, same difference...

  • Amazing.Found one for sale in my country. It's durable, cool and accurate. Thanks for the review!

  • @fixdeluxe1 If you have a chance to purchase one, you will not regret it. It is one of my favorite pistols of all time.

  • @chanderson1 Already have.

  • this gun and sig sauer Blaser R93 sniper rifle complete me..XMAS...

  • i got the airsoft replica of this!

  • @ohmygod36008 ...who gives a shit.

  • @nwall989898 obviously not you,you antisocial no life prick

  • @ohmygod36008 Jesus christ kid, calm the fuck down.

  • @nwall989898 well no ones gunna be nice to you with ur downer attitude

  • @ohmygod36008 Does your mom know that your on her computer? Saying naughty words?

  • @nwall989898 im 15 and my mom and dad died in a car crash when i was 7,thanks for the reminder

  • @ohmygod36008 No problem buddy. :)

  • @nwall989898 dude, thats not funny

  • @ohmygod36008 Just stop talking, I'm sick and tired of these "My family were all killed in a car crash when I was two, and I live off of dirt and worms everyday." It's fucking retarded. And if they did die, you wouldn't say 'thanks for the reminder" fucking idiot. Go talk to a fucking counselor if you're so fucking down in the dumps, kid.

  • @nwall989898 wow you are really sad i bet you have no friend because u spend your days making fun of people because they lost someone special, but i dont blame you i know people say there parents died when they really didnt but mine really did pass away and i try to forget about it but its hard and its people like u who take their family for granted that make is that much harder

  • @ohmygod36008 You are all pathetic.Go and argue somewhere else.

  • @nwall989898 hehehe

  • @edw1nc Hahaha. I don't get it. :(

  • Man, sweet pistol! I love the P226...Just bought one and love it! Great vid, mang!

  • In the US kids can get guns so they can shoot each other.

  • this is my dream gun, someday im gonna buy one. i like sig sauer fire arms.

  • Nice gun!

  • This gun is awesome! I just bought the P226 Elite but this gun looks really good.

  • Of course! Nothing beats a good review, especially when it concerns Sigs!

    <----anxiously awaiting for upcoming vids.

  • This gun is SICK! Hopefully i will have one soon. Nice vid bro. I know you mentioned you will one day do a video of the "break-down", but do you think you can also do a complete and thorough Breakdown of the Slide (firing pins etc) for cleaning? That would be very helpful. Thanks!

  • @spartan17223137 Hi, will try to do a thorough break down of the slide components in a future video. Its really simple, but I know some people may not be quite up to the task unless they actually see how simple it can be. Thanks for the video suggestion! Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.

  • This would be illegal in Canada unless you have a restricted license right? Or would I be able to get one with a gun license for a rifle?

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 I live in Florida so I'm not up on California gun laws...sorry

  • Alright, no prob, but if there is anyone in Canada who does know about this... message me cause i'm thinking of getting a SIG.

  • @chanderson1 he said canada not commiflorida

  • @NEONRAPTOR1

I live in Canada and I own several guns including pistols (one is a P226). Any pistol with a barrel over 4.18" that is not .25, .32, or any other exotic ammunition is considered a restricted firearm. All you need to do is acquire a restricted firearms license, which is not hard to do at all. A p226 is a restricted pistol and they are great, but keep in mind that in Canada you will never enjoy the full 15rnd capacity of the P226 as all pistols in Canada can not exceed 10 rounds.

  • @BJCN100 Thank you so much, aswell, if I were to be caarry it around for personal defense, could i get charged or do I just show the lisence and im off the hook?

  • @NEONRAPTOR1

Unfortunately in Canada you are never permitted to cary any firearm for self defense. Now I know a few people who keep a rifle in their trunk or in their truck for when they go camping, but with pistols this is out of the question. You can acquire a permit for keeping a pistol in a holster, but, you may only cary the gun in the holster in a gun range.

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 If you have a restricted firearms licence, you can have this pistol in Canada.

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 You will need a restricted class PAL to get one of these. A non-restricted licence won't cut it.

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 hey man i live in canada they are legal but u need a restricted firearms licence

  • Comment removed

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 All handguns in Canada are restricted, so you'd have to get a RPAL to acquire one of these.

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 i would have to be in a gun club or other ways but u still cant carry on ur hip

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 you need your restricted to buy it. i just got mine today its awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 handguns with a barrel length greater than 105mm are restricted, handguns with a barrel length less than 105mm are prohibited.

  • @NEONRAPTOR1 yes it is illegal to have any handgun in canada unless you have a restricted PAL and have filled out massive amounts of paperwork

  • I think that the wood grips a re walnut

  • man I have a p226 .40 and I love it! So accurate for a production gun and it has out shot every high end custom 1911 I have shot (granted it might have been my unfamiliarity with 1911s)

  • I like this Blackwater Sig Sauer 226, very nice and has me thinking.....

  • To be honest, im kinda leaning to the navy version. Its internal parts are finished to handle saltwater corrosion.

  • I live in NYC. Toughest gun laws in the world, but when I do get my permit, this will be my inaugural purchase.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 Yeah, I've heard of the strict gun laws up that way. You wont regret buying a Sig.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 oh please, australia doesent even have airsoft guns! no autos, no high caliber not even pump action! we'ed proberbly get busted if we used a banana as a gun!

  • @tucker3601 Not to mention they just banned Mortal Kombat the game in Australia. I guess you guys down under do have it worse.

  • @Clonetrooper1139 haha i know, its so gay

  • @Clonetrooper1139

you don(t live in france ...

  • @Clonetrooper1139 lol, no gun laws in america are as bad as the shit we gotta put up with in australia...

  • Nice

  • awesome pistol! I LOVE my p226; I want to get an s4 slide for my stock two tone model.

Even though the S4 is surpressor ready will it still fit on my original 226? Nice vid and great review sir..

  • @Boogiethrash To tell you the truth, I have no idea if the s4/226 combination would work out, but thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!

  • beautiful pistol! probably my next purchase.

  • what price P226?

  • @volihsab about $900

  • Nice package!!! I love my Sig P6 and i want to get the P226 next

  • What is the purpose of the front serrations?

  • @wafflecushioned its used for extra traction when "press checking" to see if you have a round in the chamber.

  • where can i buy this

  • I've never shot a P226, but have always wondered how that low tang effects the control/recoil when compared to something like a Glock, Beretta, etc.

  • @Highjak86 They're extremely smooth action. Perhaps one of the smoothes shooting pistols ever because of the full length guide rails

  • @Highjak86 Navy SEALs!!!

  • sexy! if i had the $ i'd grab one as a back-up!

  • @torontothegood Its a very nice piece and I'm sure to have it in the collection for a long time.

  • Shweeeeeeet!......drool...

  • what do recommend for first time users? cuz im debating between a glock and a sig .40 cal and i dnt know what gun to buy help me please!!

  • @MegaCowboys27 Really cant compare a Sig and a Glock. The Sigs are just way over engineered and is the smoothest action pistol I've shot. The Glocks are more simplistic and minimalist type guns. Price point on the two are also on different levels. You'll pay much more for a Sig than a Glock. I always recommend Glocks to new shooters since they are not complicated to shoot, take down, clean.

  • my all time favorite the SIG P226 i have one and love it but wood grips are sweet how do they feel?

  • @gunnerrun13 I like the looks of the wood grip, but its a make the grip a little fat and the texture is not so great.

  • Except you shouldn't fondle babies...

  • Blackwater=over paid government soldiers that dont fall under the majority of the scrutiny that the US military has to deal with...Blackwater has a HORRIBLE reputation amongst the troops, and the civilians! Although-that gun is SUPER RAD--except for the blackwater grips....LOL...thanks for posting this though--didnt know they made a BW edition....another reason not to buy sig...

  • @Jeenyus1983 US special forces often use SIGs. That's enough for me.

  • @Altonahk Yes...SIG's are fabulous weapon systems...but remember...the troops are also issued 9mm's and thats definetely not enough for me...lol...just my 2 cents...

  • I heard a gong in the video at 2:26 no bullshet

  • @Ethercloud LOL, I think it was my phone or Instant messenger

  • you should have taken the wrapper off the grip to give the full effect...otherwise thank you sir.

  • Lots of fun. I love the Sigs, especially the EQUINOX LINE

  • Swiss technology. Why did SIG sale the licence to those bastards SAUER and SIGARMS.

    It's a shame

  • @BOULDERGEEK Weapons are always checked prior to filming.

  • @BOULDERGEEK an XDm or M&P don't even compare to the quality of a Sig it like racing a Geo Metro vs a Porsche.

  • @BOULDERGEEK Safety bitch

  • @BOULDERGEEK whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. did little baby poop himself?

  • nice gun it looks great!

  • show off

  • @FuckinCrazyness lol..yeah i was kinda showing off i guess

  • Best places to buy firearms in the Miami area are Lou's Police Supply (especially if you are active/retired law enforcement or military), Tropical Firearms and Weston Firearms.

    I just can't use a P226 as well as my P229's -- I'm not sure why.

Sigs are great, but I would never buy a special collectors edition of anything -- Blackwater, Navy Seals, Iraqi Freedom, etc. If you get something like a P229, go to Lou's Police and get it with night sights, or the P229, SCT...

  • Nice piece!

  • man that's a gorgeous gun, thanks for sharing

  • im PRAYING that in the next mother fucking peice of shit call of duty game, that they dont put this gun in it, OTHER WISE THOSE FUCKIN' COD PLAYERS WILL RUIN ITS GOOD GOD DAMN NAME!

  • @PivotAnimator50 DAMn1!

  • I think u misunderstood. I am trying to make a decision on my EDC CHL weapon. Consider that I came across your video and have not seen all the videos on Sig. I have heard the name but don't know the tech. Remember people use Youtube for research to avoid waiting money.

  • Its a p226, if you know guns...there's nothing more to say

  • Dude, u talked 4 4.5 minutes and did not give any info on the gun, just sayin'

  • @MrCker its a P226, what else do you need to know thats not been said by 1 million youtubers and elite special forces personel? The only difference from this one is that its stamped Blackwater....thats it. other than that, its a P226, one of the most reliable, battle proven weapons on the face of the planet....just sayin

  • @MrCker on top of what chanderson1 said he doesnt need to give info because no where in the title does it say review. He is saying that he purchased a new handgun.

  • @MrCker you talked for 4.5 mins and didnt say anything..but nice gun ;)

  • Blackwater edition as in it's fired best at random bystanders?

  • @diramonsky It means: something is going to die.

  • dude you need to do a review of this gun! how much it was? and is it a limited edition??

  • @nonglotter Hi, they vary in price quite a bit. I found mine in a Miami gunshop new, which is rare. This model is the older model and I've not seen one unfired. Depends on your location, I think they range from anywhere around $800-$1000. As for the review, its basically the same as any other Sig P226...high quality build and pure reliability.

  • @nonglotter They are basically a private military company (pmc) and they work under contract with some governments.

  • whats blackwater isnt that like a military thing

  • @miltnxc123 Private company, basically mercenarys. The U.S. government hires them to do shit they don't want our military to do. If they kill whatever we arn't responsible for them. But I'm sure if it came down to it they would kill Americans (Military) if the price was right.

  • @BennnnyBoooom Being as almost all security officers that work for the Xe corporation have previous military experience with the United States Armed Forces i do not believe they would kill American civilians for any price unless those particular civilians are domestic enemies of our country. And there are thousands employed by Xe who do other jobs, private security is just one branch of their business.

  • @Hallowedpointdtp I said American military. I doubt they would kill civilians..

  • @BennnnyBoooom because men who have been in service before in the US would kill US soldiers???? im not trying to shit talk on youtube but think about what your saying??? 99.99999% of men (and women) who have been in the service would never kill another US serviceman for money... best way to put it is do not be so quick to judge when you know not a single person who works for Xe in retail sales, security, training, whatever... and obviously don't know much about the company itself.

  • @miltnxc123 Blackwater was/is a mercenary organization that used to contract to the united states armed forces until an incident in iraq, when they were banned from operations in US controlled zones.

  • @ThePurpleNinja4209 because they did what they were supposed to. cars where driving straight at them at a time when car bombs were everywhere. They did not stop even when shot at. So the guys went balls to the walls and filled the cars full of lead. There was nothing wrong in what they did.

  • Oh man... the "Killing innocent Iraqis for fun" version... I mean the "Above the Geneva Conventions act" version... I mean the "Sick christian nazi elitist" version... Excuse me, man I'm sorry... I meant the "Blackwater" version.

    Cooooool

  • @rednoseroxy I mean the "GTFO libertard faggot" version

  • @airjordon91 Hey shit dick...So you're describing your version? Here's a tip since you like "tips" so much... If you're gonna call hateful names, learn to spell them... Here's another tip, the little red squiggly... that's the "Hey dumb fuck, you're misspelling this" line... So STFU.

And FYI, I'm a disabled vet that served 6years, two of which were in the sandbox... so I know EXACTLY what the those BLACKWATER cocksuckers are all about... they'd kill Americans for the almighty dollar.

  • cut the crap bro

  • @ctdefine I dont understand what your trying to say

  • sig sauer P226... the only 9mm i would touch

  • If it's good enough for a S.E.A.L. to take on a mission, it's good enough for me. Just wish they weren't so damn expensive, on the other hand, you get what you pay for.

  • @mkalner Yeah, they are pretty expensive. The quality and how smooth this weapon cycles is worth every penny though. Thanks for watching!

  • I frequently check the SIG site for price and info on a gun I plan to purchace. They usually list the RSP around 1300 dorruh but I never hear of people paying more than 1000 on them. Why

  • @Wabaanimkii well most places will not tag their guns for msrp because they will not be in business long. Also buying a gun, you can always haggle on the price. If your a good customer at the local gunshop, they sometimes give you great deals also.

  • thats a good looking pistol chanderson, nice video and vid quality

  • This is my all time favirout handgun.

The Best, and extreamly realiable, and accurate gun ever.

  • @pu33yassassin Yes they were hollow points and they were expensive. No feeding issues at all.

  • @pu33yassassin I bought a bulk of 500 rounds and never any issues. Went through the entire box no problem.

  • i know it's been months, but i'm still jealous!

  • @ihyoo83 lol! Its perhaps one of the most accurate pistols I've shot to date. Thanks for the comment.

  • Good video

  • God Bless any Blackwater Operator I served with them in Iraq best group of fighters in the world

  • Hey man, I just went to 40sigsauer's page and he has no videos. What happened!?!?

  • @EnduranceT I'm not sure. I haven't heard from him in awhile.

  • I've seen blue factory grip bands (new) and red grip bands (reconditioned) on Sigs. Do you know what the gray band signifies?

    Nice video. Thanks.

  • @phollero gray bands are usually for limited edition runs.

  • Wow you bought a P226 instead of P229 just because it wasn't in stock, that's like the decision of the US military choosing Glock's over Beretta's! Is that like not a big decision to you?

  • @IMFDB, too much money on his hands, lol...
