@Baulan Am not a Mac Fan, I don't have a Mac, nor do I have any ipod products. My pc's are loaded with Ubuntu (Linux). I only have one pc with XP on it, doing a dedicated task, and periodically find that .net files are corrupted.

I think the "I'm a Mac" commercials are funny too! Especially the part where they completely gloss over the fact that most of the flaws with Windows are present on Mac. Or like that one time the Mac was all "Yeah, I don't get viruses." When the reason is because Mac isn't popular enough for malware producers to target as frequently. The hyperbole and strawmen Apple uses are just hilarious.

yeah I own why?.. i own both PC and Mac.. Mac - for video edit , photo edit, multimedia edit.. PC - online gaming , MS word documents... I just use both for comfortability im more comfortable on editing with mac. and user friendly in MS word on vista im just pointing the Ads Mac is a false ad true... they have the highest spec performance but cursing other OS company is such a bad idea its a false ad..

instead of having BOTH computers, you could have just gotten Boot Camp for Mac. you can choose to run it on Mac or PC when you start it up. if you choose PC it works exactly like a PC does...

You should really pay more attention in class then. Ads have to be simple and catchy. If you are studying advertising, then you should appreciate the fact that often times, the most simplistic ads are the most effective.

By the way, Macintosh ads are all very accurate. Windows ads escape most people. Though you may dispute that, sales figures are indisputable.

Quality vs. Price is a large factor. Apple's prices are incredibly insane. If I was to get a $3,500 Mac, I could build a far superior PC for less than that.

When it comes down to practicality, Apple is taking advantage of the ignorance of many of its customers.

Microsoft's new commercials are really funny, I really enjoy them... But they don't have anything to do with Vista. I also like the Mac commercials too though, and they are actually promoting their products. Either way I like both but after watching both, I'm still more compelled to by a Mac and just watch the Windows commercials on it.

I'm surprised that there are so many comments with people stating they actually liked these commercials. Me, and the rest of the internet community, hate these commercials. Actually, these commercials have been so hated that Microsoft has recently made the decision to pull these ads.

Microsoft also has another ad called the Mojave Experiment. It's another failure.

With all the bad publicity Microsoft is giving itself, Apple should really send them a Thank You card.

I saw both. I'm not as big a nerd as you are so I didn't know the thing about the clown card photo. I thought they were funny but just like everything else Microsoft does...they had a whole lotta crap in there that didn't actually DO anything. In the "I'm a Mac" ads, they point out a flaw in PCs and tell you how Mac addreses that flaw in 30 secs - simple, to the point, and with purpose. But these didn't have nothing to do with Windows or computers at all. What was suppose to be the message?

the thing with the mac commercials is they are funny AND convert some users by pointing out flaws and such with microsoft. They make a good point. The new microsoft commericals are also funny, and I have enjoyed them, but the main point is "getting in touch with people". A point which they do not show how they support in their product, therefore just a glittering generality worth little. They need to do more and bash mac a little if they want some customers back.

I think the first ads were really bad. Most people just didn't understand them. Now they're going more to the Apple way of creating ads, so that's proof again that Microsoft just can't innovate, and if they try, only a few people can possibly understand it.
