  • any other "kale-like" (power-food)greens out there with similar health benefits? I've been a strict vegan for the past 6 months after being diagnosed w/M.S. The problem is: Kale & parsley are in every dish I eat and am running out of ways to spice them up and am growing bored. I have a lot to learn. I get so much from channels like yours -- keep up the great work. Thanks

  • @ragnarocking yeah - chard, collards, anything dark green. Sprouts are really nutrient-dense, too. Have fun with it!

  • she is so gorgeous

  • uhh, not so great. a lot of talk, not much action. pls., a kale recipe? thx.

  • @pwarmstro you can find lots of kale recipes if you search my channel, or go to my site at healthy vegan recipes dot net :)

  • I like to talk to my Kale,Kale does not judge and interrupt you when you talking.

  • You've got to COOK kale -- it unlocks the nutrients and the flavor! It's great in soups and stews or sauteed with garlic and olive oil.

  • @RawfoodPete haha... I've never had a shiatsu treatment, but I'm sure the kale would appreciate either one :)

  • ****************** Kale chips are THE BEST!!!!! My favourite homemade flavour of kale chips is Salt and Vinegar! I use... 1. Kale 2. Salt 3. 12 tablespoons of Vinegar 4. A dash of Olive oil Then, I wash the kale, remove the inner ribs and tear the kale leaves into chip-sized pieces. Lay out the kale on a baking sheet (with parchment paper). Mix the other ingredients in a bowl and pour it on top of kale. Put in oven for 15 min. at 350 degrees. They taste GREAT!! *****************

  • @joancover0389 kale is a leafy green - comes in different forms, the most common is green and curly. You might see it in the produce section with the swiss chard and other winter greens

Try it chopped finely and added to sauteed, slightly crisped chickpeas, shallot & garlic - Totally delicious! Ooo, may be serve that over quinoa? Scrumptious

  • @makeupklutz for some reason kale + quinoa is one of the best combinations... with chickpeas, seasoned with tamari and toasted sesame oil, sprinkled with sesame seeds sounds amazing :)
