  • Hey, Smokie347, thank you for the comment. We actually have a HERS score of 62 after the revision, but a 59 is awesome. You have done some things that have drastically reduced your score, which for our price range would not make economical sense, such as the Goe-thermal HVAC. We are trying to be as low as possible, but will not beat out everyone. Congrats on your low score and thank you again for your post.

  • I just got my HERS score of 59 on my 9000 sq. ft. home. 68 doesn't seem so good as my only attempts at saving energy was Geo-thermal HVAC and spray foam insulation.
