I downloaded it and it kept crashing as soon as it opened so I deleted it via "CyDelete" (a tweak that allows you to delete cydia apps while on the springboard) and well it fucked up my Cydia, it deleted all sources. packages, and sections. I don't know if it was CyDelete or Rock but I had used CyDelete before and it didn't do this.

Agreed, thats why I got rock, the only other way to change the password is to setup openssh and terminal in and that's clunky in my opinion. It says it didn't change it but it actually did.

I must say that appcake works okay too, it works a little bit faster than installous and the wifi never stops if I use this program. Now I just use both, if it doesn't work with installous I try with appcake. Usually at least one of them works.

Installous is the only (best) way to download any app you want. You'll need a powerful wifi though because some programs take hours to download and your wifi may stop for a moment and start working but that stops it and ends the progress so what u should do if that happens is scroll a bit every little while (through time you'll know how good your wifi is and you'll feel when its time to scroll the page a bit but make sure u dont change the page ur on or u'll lose the download completely)
