All I can say is "Mad Props to anyone who can do SF4 Trial 5 & SSF4 Level 24 with a DualShock Controller"!!! ;) I literally spent approximately 15 hours of trying to clear El Fuerte's SF4 trial 5 & SSF4 Level 24 with the d-pad, until I started practicing on the Joystick then this trial became very easy!! It's crazy, but once you have LP & HP side-by-side on the Joystick, get the speed & timing down and you'll be clearing this trial over & over like me LOL! I've cleared ALL Hard Trials on SF4 ;)

I need some help with El Fuerte's fierce punch sudden stop loop, I usually try Fierce Punch > Lp Haberano > Lp > Fierce Punch (repeat) but it feels awkward using the 2 light punches and half the time he does fajita busters, whcih version of haberno dash works best for this? LP MP or HP?

If you press a button and nothing comes out, it means you pressed it too early. If you press a button and it comes out but the computer blocks it, then you pressed it too late. Based on these 2 results, you should be able to figure out the timing. Good luck.

Lol, i tried Trial 24 2 hours in a row and when i tried it by doing the Habanero Dash through Negative Edge i did it on my 1st try, i don't know why.

Trial 23 is a joke compared to Trial 24 IMO because i don't play El Fuerte.

Guys, i'm on Trial 24 and when i only need to do 1 more HP Elf is either too far away and does the slow punch, of he grabs Dan.

I know that when he grabs Dan it's my fault, but there's nothing i can do about his distance.

@darkmulawin You cancel another attack by pressing M kick and M punch together (or simply the focus attack button). You charachter will flash yellow, followed by a focus attack if done correctly.

For those hu using a stick. Set every buttons to light punch, only 2 buttons into hard punch. which is the square and the triangle. for a 360 user it is X and Y. Now u gotta focus harder on this part where u gotta use one for the jab one for the stop second one for the jab again. U also need a rhythm as for me i been fingering so many girls that my rythym for trial 24 its liike taking a candy from a baby. fingering a girl is a good pracise for this trial

Number 24 is all about rhythm. For me, I made a beat in my head that corresponded with fierce and jab that kind of went "boom whoop da da boom whoop da da boom," 'boom' being fierce, 'whoop' being QCF and 'da' being jab.

Alright I finally did #23. Only took me 2 days actually, so I guess it wasn't that bad. I spent a lot more time on Ryu #21

#23 is a billion times harder than #24 for me. I was able to do 24 after about 20 minutes of practicing the loop. The timing for it is really not that strict at all.

23 however... I can only link the S.LK about 1 out of 10 times, and then I can only link the C.MK about 1 out of 30 times. So every 100 attempts or so I have a chance to cancel into the super.

I know I'll get it eventually but FFS I've already made over 10,000 attempts it seems.

@inf4my- Haha! I know right? 1 frame links are the worst. So after something like 20 hours of attempting, I finally managed to land the combo on SF4 to get the platinum (WOOT!) and then was able to land it again in about 30 mins on SSF4. I think I was just being a bit too sloppy for the game by rushing through and canceling the c. MK into a Medium Dynamite which travels less than the Hard. Went back and practiced both cancels alone to confirm. Careful attention to precision at the end helps. :)

@NightMare2117 this is IMO one of the hardest trials in the game, I think they are both one frame links, i could be wrong. If you notice I double tap the Light Kick, and then PLink the medium kick to increase the chances of me making the links.

Once in a blue moon, I get all the way down to the c. MK and BAM! I get the cancel into the super and my heart leaps...then the first hit of the Dynamite misses and Dan blocks the rest! ARGH!!! Am I still too slow connecting the last 3 moves? Help! This is the LAST THING standing between me and platinum!

@showj0e Are you sure you are doing C.MK xx Dynamite? If you are doing the cancel correctly then there is no way that the super will not hit.

Perhaps you are hitting C.MK and then trying to link the Dynamite instead of cancelling into it.

I have never actually gotten the Dynamite to come out after connecting the 2 one frame links, but if I start the combo with S.LK, S.MK xx Dynamite, it always connects for 10 hits. Have you tried doing this to confirm that you are cancelling correctly?

Just did 24th.. Was my last trial on the original SFIV and now on SSFIV is was as well. The only tip I can give, is: mashing the right commands (like i did for a while) will only help you sabotage your combo. You need to tap the exact amount of buttons they ask you to and you need to do it fast. You'll notice that you'll link much easier when you stop mashing (even 1 light punch too much is unacceptable on trial 24)

(continued) Unlike what Vesper is doing. He isnt cancelling the LK, he is frame linking, meaning he wait till the LK animation ends and inputs the super. What I mean here is AFTER plinking the HK, try timing it so that you can do a QCF + LK, and so after you do that, do another QCF +LK. If you time it right, el fuerte will connect the LK, but at the same time you only need to do another QCF + LK to activate super, that way you will cancel it. Good luck hope you guys get it.

I got a really good way to do Trial 22. If you guys have played SSF2T, super buffers are done differently than SSF4. For example, for Ryu in SSF4, if you wanna do mk. to super, you do mk QCF QCF + P, but in super turbo, you do QCF mk, then the other QCF + P. So this is how this knowledge applies in El fuerte's trial 22. First you plink the HK, then you will try to buffer the super, meaning you cancel the LK into super (I will continue explaining in another comment)

Alright ppl listen up for trial 24 help.

RSF = Run Stop Fierce

1. Close Hard Punch

2.cancel the HP with a LP run (QCF+LP)

3.Run for about one step, then cancel with a fast Stop (LP) then Fierce Punch again

The stop and fierce are pushed almost at the same time, like a slow Plink.

So: HP xx QCF+LP (brief pause) LP~HP

Remember the LP to stop the run and the HP after must be hit in rapid succestion.

Once you have that down, repeat 3 times :D

@JpizzleEG ah yes I usually dash using hard punch only so I didnt check that you dash with lp... my bad. Still I find it easyer to dash cancel by doing "Press HP -> CQF -> release HP", that same technique is also very helpful for C.Viper's FP thunder cancel FP at the start of her 24th trial.

To anyone struggling with trial 22 use Hard version of super instead of light, you'll notice you travel further with hard super compared to others.
