You have to get used to this noise in your ear when driving Volvo buses. Particularly on B6s in summer time.

1.why does it beep?

2.why did they convert to diesel?

it beeps becuase for 2 reasons theres a fault somewhere on the bus or theres no air in it

@nlty2000 Apparently the gas was stored in the small tanks on the l roof thus the milage range on gas was a lot shorter than diesel. The re-gassing was a more complicated and time consuming effort I'm not sure if they even had the facility to do this at the garage

Bless the Volvo dashes! I'm told they're assembled in France. Why didn't the driver slap it hard - usually works ;)

Proper sheds. We had six Ultras at Timeline and they were just as bad as this. The interior is different, the warning bells just the same!

I almost fell off my chair laughing at this video; as said above the first sound you hear is the Volvo warning bells. I drove the Northampton Gas Buses from 1996 to 2003 and would stop at nothing to get a changeover for a 'proper' bus. It was not hard to find a fault on one of these heaps.
