Saw her live recently. About 150 people turned out. What a shame! Those who did turned out were given a treat. Melissa was awesome. Her vocals filled the room, the band were really tight. A gorgeous goddess, she deserves to be huge.

Wow, killer excellent!! This lady can do no wrong!! I loved her first album, but her second one is even better. Even tho she was Courtney Love's bass player for a few years, she has 10 times more talent and a much better voice than Courtney does. Her entire 2nd album is tremendous and she is gorgeous, too. Lord, her red hair and freckles attract me like an electric magnet........! :)

Incredible video. madm in 40s fashion w a 50s beautiful hair style but the car is like from the 90s and the casquet looks like greek or middle age... untemporal mind... fire meaning diference between a God´s light power and darkness power, the flashlight the search for something... she figures a ring on left hand and her face expression is peace, maybe singing about forever love souls where a lost love apart acident happened, maybe a non-body immortal love separation. just me wondering ;)

it's not so far musically of White Lies... but ...well she's back at last... and i don't know i she did the video but it seems clear that her passion of photography as influenced this great video... she seems to be a very complete artist... but she takes really her time to do this album... since a few month i was really starting to believe that she will do an eternety to make a new album (like Kate Bush or Hope Sandoval) ... but hopefully i was partially wrong... :)
